How much do you actually save doing the season ticket version? I paid £300 when I did it as a one off with all of the above included, think it was a Cat B game (potentially Cat C, can’t remember for sure)… how much are these packages for the Cat A and A+ per game? As based on £300 a game that’s £5400 a season (league only)

I went in there the season before last. Very nice when you’re not paying.

Done the Tunnel club before. Was all amazing but can’t imagine committing to that much time for each and every match. You’re at the Amex a few hours before the match for the meal and you’re there after the match too. It’s basically your whole day gone.

Don't really see the issue. It's not as though it's depriving other fans of opportunities to watch games. If people with money want to spend it on watching football in relative luxury, that's up to them, isn't it?

No different to people paying to upgrade flights, or stay in five star hotels rather than four.

Quite. This seems to be 1901 with added dining. It’s been available since day 1, maybe just not bundled up into one product.

Many seem to love that, the Albion matchday everything to them.

I guess there will be some day-trippers and sponsors guests.

But equally, I know plenty of die-hard fans, including personal friends, who have seats in the 1901 Club, and that doesn't make them suddenly lesser supporters, does it? So it stands to reason that some of the people in the even-posher seats will also be long-time fans too. Some people might buy those seats as a one-off too, say for a special birthday or whatever. I know of others in the expensive seats who do it because they're less mobile, and need the extra comfort, or a warm place to sit before the match rather than hanging around a concourse, or because they can get a lift up to a lounge rather than hiking up the stairs to the WSU (for example).

All I'm saying is that there's frequently an implication that everyone who has a bit of money behind them is an insufferable dickhead, and while there are undoubtedly a great many of those in the world, it doesn't apply to everyone :)
