I’d sell if I were them. He’s an average lower Premier League midfielder, whose price they could inflate to a top 6 Premier League midfielder due to his name. Sell now while his stock his high, and they could buy 3-4 first team players with the money.

He’s never played in the PL so how do you know he’s lower PL quality what ever that means.

Not really. It was ironic - or sarcastic, if you like. People - often very expert people - make judgements every day on Championship players' potential in the PL. Bellingham included. Sometimes fans have opinions too, sometimes not without merit.

Just checked out the Hilton next to the Stadium - looks like an easy access option for me so definitely an away match I can do by public transport and a reasonably priced overnighter.

Edit - and near the river, so early walk along the bank to do some birdwatching followed by a swim in the Olympic size swimming pool

What I can’t stand is when Shearer bleats on about people from the north east being “hard working people”, like the rest of us aren’t.
