If Bayern make a decent bid, can’t imagine we’d stand in his way and he’s not likely to forego the opportunity. Sad but he seems like a great guy as well as a wonderful player so good luck to him, whatever happens*

*excluding a transfer to Chelsea or Palace
more goals for Kane incoming...

Bild reporting that Eze is another potential target for them...

"Rather, people are also looking for outside strikers: Brightons Kaoru Mitoma (28) is a candidate, and the name of Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze (26) also falls. He successfully played with Olise in a team at Palace."

I know it’s just how things work but it’s really irritating. He’s the one player in the team who in my view is irreplaceable. We need to accept that if he goes there’s going to be a substantial drop in quality going forward next season. Which then leaves us in the same situation that many people warned about, whereby we’re again in a ‘transition’ season trying to get over such a big departure

They can fill their boots on that one. Crack on.

Seems he’s been left out of next month’s Japan squad. Guessing it’s down to the fitness issues that have recently limited him to cameos off the bench.

I really think the club should hold out and keep him. To me he's the piece needed to push on if the club really want to do that. We have a real opportunity next season if we keep the nucleus of players together and buy in key areas needed. With so many teams in Europe if we don't get conference league we're at a massive advantage. I understand we would want to cash in but with JP probably leaving losing 20 goals (including Mitoma) and replacing that is hard even with the squad we have. Palace held out with Guehi this season unless Bayern want to spend a ridiculous price keep him. Mitoma will get his chance regardless he's just that good
I have absolutely no doubt we’ll do all we can to keep him, but if he says he wants to go to CL club and is very clear about it, I can’t see us refusing if the price is decent, Burn and Ali Mac negotiated rather than stropped and I imagine Mitoma will be no different. All were model professionals. We treat them with respect.

Fingers crossed that he actually wants to stay here.

He needs a good long rest and fingers crossed fit and raring to go with us come August.

Yeah exactly, the rumours they maybe in for eze as well which would be good, he has a release clause and his links with olise may help convince bayern he is the better option and raid palarse instead. We gotta hope the club does well in this situation.

They are going mad because he's not wirtz ...yet mitomas numbers are almost exactly the same in a much stronger league playing for a relatively weaker team.
If you watch any of Wirtz you'd understand why.

He's a ridiculously good footballer, one of the best in the world in his position.

Palace didn't do too bad when zaha left.

It is annoying ... But he's done good time with us. Can't begrudge him a move. We will be fine.....
