We need Villa to beat Man Utd to go above Chelsea, and we need a point at Spurs to ensure 8th.

Therefore what result best helps us tonight? Two outcomes:

Man Utd win, they get pissed up and don't care about playing Villa on Sunday. This also decimates Spurs and they don't turn up on Sunday.

Man Utd lose, they fall apart as they've done all season and don't care about playing Villa on Sunday. But Spurs get pissed up and are still drunk when we play them Sunday, or their confidence returns and they play like the Champions League qualifiers that they now are.

Obviously it's a given we want a draining extra time and penalties regardless of the outcome.

I think overall for us we want a Man Utd win? But I wouldn't ever say that out loud.

Spurs for me. I reckon they'd be out on the lash and Ange wouldn't be able to stop them. I'd also rather Spurs have the CL money next season, Levy will probably keep it for profit while Man U would try to improve their team.

Either way, hope it's 120 minutes with some wild tackles flying in and a few injuries for both teams - nothing serious, just knocks that take a week to recover from

Spurs.

After gruelling extra-time and penalties, if I'm allowed to choose.

Have them all happy clappy at having won a trophy for the first time in forever, and all still lashed up come Sunday afternoon.

Im the opposite. After gruelling extra-time and penalties, and lots of injuries, I want a Spurs loss. If they lose WHL will be half empty on sunday, and a toxic or completely flat atmosphere. Players will be low on confidence. If they win, yeah the players might be hungover from the celebrations, but they will be full of confidence and the stadium will be in party mode.

This but with a plethora of minor injuries that will be healed in 2 weeks.

I don’t mind really, but it would be nice for Spurs to win something I guess, if nothing else they might be slightly more reluctant to sack their so so manager. Manchester United and their fans aren’t particularly likeable.

Either way though I’m not particularly bothered.

Gruelling extra time and penalties.... after a hard fought game with a plethora of cards and injuries

Whoever loses will be amazing.

Spurs - two of my best mates are spurs fans so winding them up is great fun. Ange will be mocked. Toxic on Sunday.

United - them being rubbish will never stop being funny. Those of us who are mid 40s saw them take over football as we reached secondary school and dominate for about 20 years. They falling apart is great and Radcliffe is a bell end. Plus those fans advising us to go home having watched United (in different words) after they got jammy in shoot out after parking the bus can do one.

I will never, ever, want Man Utd to win anything. It's that simple.
This. Just because of the animal that was Norman Whiteside.
