Yes, yes - the result clearly helps, but a ridiculously entertaining game of football, a ref who didn't make it all about him, and a great atmosphere all the way through.

Why does the season have to end now - I want more of THAT!

Yup. All of that.

Some (most?) of our football was a joy to watch (Liverpool's too)....great entertainment. Top marks, especially, to Gruda, Weiffer, Webster, Minteh, Baleba, JPVH, Pervis (except that ridiculous shot at the end), Ayari....and lovely cameos from Mitoma and Jack. More of that, please!
I thought Pervis was desperately bad, to be honest. He has regressed enormously from his first season with us. I hope he finds his form again next season.
Minteh was also quite disappointing in his decision-making and his final ball.
Great game of football though

Yep, I really need to spend more time enjoying what we do rather than being bitter about other people's success. That was brilliant, this season has been excellent, and who knows after all the results are in...

Negative nelly here but that all but confirms that Palace will have officially denied us Europe this season, right?

And some fans thought the season over. Others said they were boycotting it. Others said it would be a ‘dead rubber’.

400 mile round trip, £300+ and battling through the queues at Falmer was all worth it - every penny, every minute.

Easily one of the best games of the season with box to box thrill and tight scraps for the ball.

Football for football’s sake and a fantastic way to end the home run this season.

We still have a chance (a lot of stars have to align though) but I'm over that now anyway. Finishing as high up as possible is the main thing. 8th would be fantastic in FHs first season with us considering all the injuries we've had.

Just far enough away from LDC
It was a great performance with a deeper defensive line shackling their forward line and Baleba doing a great job of single handedly nullifying their midfield. It shows how good Liverpool were that they still scored twice.

I was going to comment on the ref but thought it would seem that it was just because we won. However even at 2-1 down I thought he seemed good.

In some ways it was like the two end of season man city games (the 3-2 win and one all draw)

I'm going to come over all Dwayne (and not admit im wrong) and say it does magnify what could have been
