Palace got lucky with a cup run which can happen. They have been in the PL many years longer than us and have never got to 50 points. We got to Europe before them and I’m very confident we will do it again while this is a one off for them.
European qualification really should have been a walk in the park this season, Bloom thought it most of us did also. Personally think this season was a failure others won’t agree and that’s fine.

Nice to hear from someone close to the man himself!

Also, extrapolating from NSC’s pre season poll, most of us didn’t expect European qualification this season.

Let's be honest, we really should have won something by now. We've had chances. Sometimes we've been unlucky, sometimes we haven't made Cup games a priority.

A large dollop of luck is needed to get over the line which, so far, we've not had. Barrel, tits, sucking our thumb, once again.

Oh, unless the Sussex Senior Cup counts. We've nailed that.

I feel as bad as I did at the Kelvin Morton game, as I did at the 5-0 at Selhurst and the 2-0 playoff game..... But it's just internal, I don't think many Palace fans are that bothered by the rivalry tbh. So feck em. It does make us want to do better and, for me, them fecking up the possibility of 8th place meaning Europe extends the (pantomime) hate a bit. So it someways it's "fine".

I wouldn’t be surprised if Palace struggle in the PL next season, they rarely good for more than half the season. Europe will be a big distraction for them.
