All the football sites on Facebook are unbearableā¦..
The fawning from all the other club supporters makes you

For supporters of clubs like Albion and Palace, lifting the Cup is forever, at least when it comes to memories.Let's be real, here: They have done the 'thing' which we dream of. Do I hate it? Of course I do, just as they would if the boot was on the other foot. Does that make them 'better' than us? No, not in the slightest, but I can accept bragging rights from them. this year.
Far too much is placed upon a trophy as opposed to a whole season.
We'll finish above them....again.
And we'll do it too, at some point. For supporters of clubs like Albion and Palace, lifting the Cup is forever, at least when it comes to memories.
League places come and go, but trophies are eternal.
Sorry but didn't I just specifically say that was the only element of luck!Henderson not getting sent off was incredibly lucky, it was a stonewall red card! Completely changed the course of the match.
City have been completely out of sorts for some time. Flakey and very beatable. It was obvious that a determined well organised team that stuck to its gameplan would be enough to see off this lacklustre version of City. You had one job City, one f****** job with your multi million pound so called world class superstars![]()
Totally.Yep. Ended our season. Biggest day in their history.
Comparison is the thief of joy. We just need to accept that we are not as good as they are and move on.
ErrIt's a tough one to take but ultimately it doesn't affect BHAFC.
Of course it f***ing does, our rivals just won a major trophy. Which we HAVEN'T in our 124 year history. (f*** the community shield) none of us where a life then. It's a tough one to take but ultimately it doesn't affect BHAFC.
Because we sign players for the future and never see them in the Stripes.....loaned out straight away in the shop window to sell on......although they lost today, City brought on a 19 year old Argentinian player they signed las January and loaned back to the selling club until January......Barco is agreat example, outcast, sent off from pillar to post..............Is it though? Iām being very honest here. How can we go on and on about our recruitment/project when, again being completely honest, weāve never had a striker as good as Mateta, never had any attackers as good as Eze, Olise and (be honest) Zaha, never a fullback as good as Munoz and obviously, never won a major trophy? How can that possibly be disputed? It may not be a popular opinion, but itās based on facts.
Even in the league table, they finished third once, compared to our sixth place finish. Yes, theyāre an incredibly jammy team right now, who often get the rub of the green, but this goes back to the āSpursyā thread that was on here a few weeks ago. They have a killer, big game instinct that we donāt. I donāt know where that comes from, and yes theyāve lost finals before, but those more and more I think about it, itās just comes down to an intangible club āDNAā. Just look at that playoff semi all those years ago if you need proof.
And thereās nothing we can do about that. Maybe itās best to have an āeyes on your own paperā situation, but itās undeniable that thereās a massive rift between the two clubs, regardless of our recent trajectory, which has been excellent and isnāt dampened whatsoever by their achieve. To quote a gormless former manager, āIt is what it isā, but itās frankly foolish to deny that the gap exists and probably will do for a few decades to come
I believe there's 2 different points here. And we'll do it too, at some point.
I'd rather be us, than them.
I wouldn't even be surprised if we were after him, but City came calling and signed him. Reminds me off that Brazilian Centre Back, city signed in January who we were after!Because we sign players for the future and never see them in the Stripes.....loaned out straight away in the shop window to sell on......although they lost today, City brought on a 19 year old Argentinian player they signed las January and loaned back to the selling club until January......Barco is agreat example, outcast, sent off from pillar to post..............
Only if you can find a reasonably priced plane ticket!I've managed to avoid it completely today and remain in denial. Dundee Utd beat Aberdeen earlier and I'm in Genoa and at they're home to Atalanta tonight. A home win would be good for the late night atmosphere in the city. FA Cup final? Haven't got a clue.
We have 19 rivals in the Premier League. I was at the game that caused the alledged problem, but time and time changes everything in my opinion. There is noreason to hold a grudge for so long.....Vennables has passed and who remembers the team from that fateful day ?Of course it f***ing does, our rivals just won a major trophy. Which we HAVEN'T in our 124 year history. (f*** the community shield) none of us where a life then.
this hurts even more then that play off game, a team who have done absolutely f*** all for nearly 12 years in the PREMIER LEAGUE!!!!
Who couldn't even afford to pay St Johns Ambulance all those years ago, if I ever wanted to see a club go bust it is those pikey c****!!!
