Ha, yes. I'd like Albion to finish with two wins. But Brentford do the same.I just ask for one final thing from this season.
DO NOT FINISH 8TH
8th is now a case of 'After you' 'No, after you'

The football gods not on our side this season. We now have to listen to them gobbing off for years to come until we win some silverware. Hopefully this can happen next season.
Sorry the only thing they got lucky with was no red card for Henderson. City were shite and Palace defended well. Trust me it hurts to admit thatLucky, lucky, bastards
And? It's still Croydon, innit? I know where I'd rather be and which club to support.Years? We're still banging on about 1983 and we didn't even win the thing.
This is it. All of us will be long-dead before this day is not being mentioned, sung and savoured by them.
Yeah, lets blame the 'football gods' FFS .......The football gods not on our side this season. We now have to listen to them gobbing off for years to come until we win some silverware. Hopefully this can happen next season.
Henderson not getting sent off was incredibly lucky, it was a stonewall red card! Completely changed the course of the match.Sorry the only thing they got lucky with was no red card for Henderson. City were shite and Palace defended well. Trust me it hurts to admit that

Another chance to avoid an NSC ban for @RedinpeaceDunno though
I keep hearing that if Chelsea finish 6th or lower 8th will get conference league still. Chelsea have forest away last game so I wouldn't write anything off just yet
Evening Yoda'On the beach' already I am.
That is possible with a number of equations. Even plausible if Forest can beat West Ham and Chelsea.Dunno though

That's my take too. So what if they have "bragging rights", whatever that means.Life is short, and far less stressful when we don't get upset about things that don't matter. And far for enjoyable when we embrace them. Another team has won a football match. That is all. The sun will rise tomorrow. Seriously, bitterness over something such as this is an unnecessary addition to a person's emotions. It just makes no sense.

My reading is that if they have already qualified for the Europa League via a European victory no extra place is awarded. It's the case for the Champions League. Perhaps someone else can confirm.
That was my thought, although looking at ESPN they seem to disagree and think that a Conference place would go to 8th.As I understand it if Chelsea win the Conference League and fail to qualify for the Champions League then there would be an extra Europa League spot and no Conference League spot. That would mean 6th and 7th plus the FA Cup winners would get Europa League football next season.
If Chelsea win the conference and qualify for the Champions League then 6th and the FA Cup winners get Europa League and 7th gets Conference League.
There appears to be some weird anomaly with the Conference League that I don’t quite understand as it doesn’t apply to the winners of Europa League or Champions League if they also qualify through the league.
