Manager might go to Leverkusen. Leave while stock is at its highest.

They were the best team in the fa cup, so deserved winners. Infinite years of abuse since our club is not about winning trophies.
There must be a part of TB that is thinking f***. We were streets ahead of them 18 months ago. Suddenly they are infinitely ahead of us.

Infinitely? That’s just bollocks. Fair play to them for the cup win - they took their chances - but the league table doesn’t lie.
Chance. Singular.

And relied on blind luck for the other 99 minutes.

Wasn't aware of that.

It's a nice thought, but hope is a dangerous thing.

Can't take anymore disappointment. If that scenario is still possible on the final day, I might pay attention though.
There’s also the small matter of a potential City points deduction, meaning 8th might become 7th.

I’m taking the positive that they haven’t got the squad or pockets to cope with Thursday / Sunday football so the chance of them going down is higher
My thoughts exactly

humiliated in europe and relegated.

Citeh today were the worst team of the last 8 Id say. Although the officials did their best possible fix.

someones made a lot of money . . .I wonder how much TB put on CP to win 1-0?

Absolute pony from City 🤬

Congratulations to Palace. They've done something that we will never do in my lifetime. My Dad's Palace, so stings a little more. City are a disgrace, should be ashamed of themselves. Weren't up for this at all.

What a disastrous season, no Europe, nothing to play for for our final games, I said our season was over and was laughed at. I know we finished top half, but the come down from last two season is real. What an anti climax.

Glasner is a very good coach. Arsenal really should poach him.
Disastrous season. Nothing like making a catastrophe out of our second best ever season. Stiil, you do you, eh.

Glasner will get poached, as will their best players. They have a small squad so a few injuries and Europe next season and they will really struggle.
City were terrible but had no luck and Henderson should have been sent off. Attwell as ref and Gillet on VAR is a disgrace. Why did they use the worst refs for the final who didn’t have the balls to send Henderson off.

They have a famous silver pot we’ve never laid our hands on and removed our Euro bragging rights after one poxy season.

I know the league table tells a wider story but right this second… no bugger’s reading it.

Bugger.

Oh well. Our hope of making it to Europe was narrow anyway. Now we don't have to fret about the last two games.
Exactly - and won't have to do a wet Thursday night in Kazakhstan or wherever. Pressure is off for our players so hopefully we can finish the season in a decent style. I do suspect that there will be plenty of seats in the exchange for Liverpool, particularly with it being a school/work night and on TV...

Agree, far too many permetations, we have Liverpool home and Spurs away and Brentford have Fulham home and Wolves away, and they have much better goal difference, so us finishing 8th before anything else is still an outside chance.

But if we did...... Chelsea will beat Betis in UECL imho, their last game is away at Forest, Forest away at Wet Sham, Home Chelsea, Villa are away at Man U, City have Muff at home Fulham away.

It's taken Palace far more seasons in the top division to win something than we've had. And they've still got Will Hughes in their squad.
