It’s written in the stars we win out two games, with other results will have qualified for Europe but Palace win the FA Cup
It's possible, but we'll know the result of the Cup Final before we play another game, so were the worst to happen at Wembley we might see some fringe players given a game v Liverpool.

Domestic football only gets 2 places in the Europa League. One from the Premier League and one from domestic cup.

Usually it’s 5th place in EPL but the extra UEFA CL place this year means it bounces down to 6th (or rather 7th because Newcastle‘s UEFA CL/Europa place (if they finish in top 6) bounces down by virtue of their Carabao Cup win)

The other Europa League place will go to either CP or Citeh as winners of the FA Cup.

The Premier League only has ONE place in the Conference League and one place for winners of the Carabao cup (this year Newcastle whose Premier League UEFA qualification bounces down a place which means 8th place is up for grabs)

If Chelsea win the Conference League, they get Europa next season but that Europa place doesn’t bounce down if they also finish in the top 6 of the Premier League - only the domestic trophy won places bounce down if a team has already qualified through the Premier League.

Furthermore: This means if Palace win the FA Cup then they take one of the two Europa spots, and Conference spot moves up to 7th because they haven’t already qualified through the Premier League so we have to hope Citeh win the FA Cup and their Premier League qualification place bounces down NOT Palace if we want that 8th place Conference spot.

One benefit of Cunha not being sent off against us is that he should be available to face Brentford on the last day of the season.

We just need to hope that after this weekend's fixtures, that is still a factor. If they win and we lose, then it's all over.

Yes, I had thought that. Then he goes on to score the winner against Brentford.
Him having avoided a red could work in our favour

Didnt WestHamlet win the lowest rank Euro cup?

That would make the Liverpool game awful no offence to the fringe players but I wanna see Welbeck get a hatrick and Mitoma outpace Trent 9if Trent plays of course!)

No sense in throwing the Liverpool match IF the unthinkable happens at Wembley on Saturday as Man City still have a points penalty hanging over them.

Imagine writing off the last two games and then Man City get docked points. We’d look like chumps.
Good point

I suspect you are like an equivalent of my old pal Phil at work.
He and I seemed to disagree about practically everything,
then I realized we simply see different sides of the same coin.
Rather than get shirty, I arranged to have lunch with him one Friday.
And we carried on the tradition till he moved elsewhere to double his salary 4 years ago.

Probably for the best, I'm rubbish in an argument.

I thought Cunha played like a man who knew he was off at the end of the season on Saturday, Not too disimilar to how one of our Brazilians has appeared at times this season.

I'm just hoping he decides to turn up for his last home game. That or Strand Larsen turns into Haaland.

Would have only been a one game ban (denying goalscoring oppurtunity).
