There really are some sick bastards out there.

No doubt blamed on covid/mental health.

The country is infested with dogs. They're everywhere. Read an article the other day about doggie ice cream. DOGGIE ICE CREAM. Anyone who buys it should be locked up immediately. Clearly a danger to society. And another article about the amount of money people are spending on their pets. Madness. And pet insurance what's that about? When I was a kid if your pet got ill you had it put down. It's just an animal. I think I'd recommend vetrinary surgery to anyone who wants to make a mint off gullible people.
Rant over ... for the moment.
:ROFLMAO:

I'm easily wooshed. But not even that one got me. If you can't woosh me, that's poor form.

@AmexRuislip I honestly wish I hadn't read that, it was quite upsetting. I'm not naive, I know there are evil people everywhere, but that is a f***ing insane level of depravity, and perpetrated by kids.
I wish I hadn't seen it myself. As having 2 cats ourselves it made us angry reading it.
It was sort of in our face as we walking this morning, not something I'd planned.
I'm really hoping they get the scum that did this, but reality will kick in and they'll get a warning most probably, citing some irrelevant bollox.

The original report only describes the crime, whereas the notice goes further, which I'm guessing for the shock factor in getting people horrified and whistle blowing.
