Played from Starmer, has done to important stuff to get rid of worse of the tariffs with the US without caving in on standards.

Hopefully this paves the way for some kind of reset with the EU which will be mutually beneficial and both parties need it. Big meeting in 10 days

The deal promises a boon for the UK’s car and alcohol industries, which have suffered from the impact of Donald Trump’s tariffs in the US.
Incorrect, the 10% tariff only applies to the first 100,000 cars exported, which is less than we exported in 2024.
