To be honest, I'm surprised at this announcement - only insofar that he hasn't personally 'decided to rename' it US Victory Day
"We're going to Make America Victorious Again. We're bringing back victory because they're trying to destroy it. They don't want us to be victorious any more. No-one knows more about victory than me. I'm got most victoriousness than anyone ever. Way more victorious than the LOOSER radical left judges, Joe Biden, CROOKED Hillary Clinton and – most of all – Hunter Biden's Laptop."

Mike Pence Calls for Donald Trump Reversal—'Warning Signs Are Flashing'

Former Vice President Mike Pence urged President Donald Trump to reverse course on the sweeping tariffs he announced in April.

In an op-ed published in The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Pence wrote that "economic warning signs are flashing" as he criticized Trump's tariffs as a "massive policy misstep."

Pence was terrible for Indiana but his calls against Trump are just what the US needs.
Do you really think what Mike Pence (sorry, 'Hang Mike Pence' to give him his full MAGA name) has to say will make one jot of difference to what Trump says, does or thinks? Because I don't!

They do.

But as with much in their society, much is based on lies and historical revisionism.

You wont find truthful references inside Russia of the Soviets actions, prior to 1941, their partnership with Nazi Germany, their part in the invasion of Poland.

For much of the brainwashed masses the war only started in 1941 with Op Barbarosa when Hitler attacked. You'll find no mention of US lend lease, or absolutely crucial intel passed by British having cracked enigma.

They won the war alone.

Lovely footage from the May 1941 red square March, then it was celebrating the glorious 1917 revolution, now its Russias victory of Nazis in the great 1941-1945 war ..... And this just weeks before The Germans betrayed them and attacked. (of course in Russia this is fake news)

Spot the Nazis (30 secs and loads from 3:40)

My Dad took part in Atlantic and Russian convoys. He said we shouldn't have stopped when we got to Berlin, but pushed back on the Russians, in the agreeement.
When the Arctic Star was awarded, I claimed his posthumously, and an old veteran told me, he had been to the Russian Embassy for a medal from them. I said, I wouldn't claim that as my Dad wouldn't want it. He did his bit keeping Russia going via the convoys, but he disliked their politics and propaganda.
He was proved right a couple of years later when the Russians tried to cut off Berlin and then 12/13 years later erected the wall splitting East and West Germany.

Not a lot but it's the culmination of a bunch of Republican voices that COULD eventually change the REPUBLICAN actions (NOT the Trump actions) about tariffs and the economy.

It's ok, once one of his nannies explains it to him, he'll be telling us a mixture of a) Yes I know, I was referring to the images (which aren't on the knuckles), and b) I was being sarcastic.

Just when you think you understand how dumb he is, he surprises you.
The "I was just joking" defence is so infuriatingly childish. It's pathetic.

I’ve edited my post above to remove the image of Russia’s Red Square parade and Trump wanting to emulate it - it was bad taste to give it air time in light of your family history.

I realise that but I still think it was bad taste.
Fascinating back story of your Dad though.
I was a Navy brat. He served 33 years in total.

That was mainly due to the US being isolationist. UNTIL Woodrow Wilson took up a leadership role and started the failed League of Nations. The reason for the need for the US to take up the leadership role was the failed leadership in Europe and the reason for the failed League of Nations was the vindictiveness of the European leaders towards Germany. Also the stroke Wilson suffered in his second term.
Excellent repeated use of the word 'failed'. Very Trumpian.

Pope today, Jesus next year and God the year after. I wonder where he'd go after that?
If that was a tongue in cheek post from him, I'd find it quite funny, but I'm pretty sure he actually thinks he could be Pope. :D
