Hard to believe that the shit I am hearing is from the President of the USA behaving like a mobster bully and he’s going to keep getting away with it, but it seems that he is.
He doesn’t behave like a mobster bully.

He IS a mobster bully.

Skyscrapers in NYC didn’t get built in the 70’s and 80’s without being in league with the mafia and The Concrete Club.

“According to biographer Wayne Barrett, Trump actively pursued mob contacts. Instead of running from the mafia, the real estate mogul instead played the game and bought concrete at "artificially high"prices. Incidentally, Trump was able to run a smooth operation because he proved to be a valuable business partner for the New York mafia. He even reportedly had a face-to-face meeting with Anthony "Fat Tony" Salerno, who ran the Genovese crime family during the early '80s until he was convicted on RICO charges in the 1986 Mafia Commission trial”

I'm not sure if I'm more shocked at his complete lack of self awareness and the opinion of the rest of the world or his complete disconnect from the truth. Really ... almost speechless after listening to that bile. PLEASE someone assassinate him.
Hope you haven't got any tours planned as a comment like that is likely to get you cancelled! (I suspect if you also want to travel to US during Trump's reign you might be declined!!).

He is inherently drawn to powerful, mafia/mob style figures.

My thoughts are that he sees himself as a mob boss rather than actually being accepted as one of their own. A real wannabe. Who is probably quite easy to manipulate into doing these figures favours.

I imagine the mob saw that Trump had access to his Father’s fortune. Saw that a fool and his money are soon parted. And rinsed him.

Annoying. Weak. Fawning. But handy to use sometimes.

Could explain his adoration of Putin then

This is fun

Even by Trump standards that footage is incredible. I counted 6 clear times when the interviewer gave Trump the chance to move on and change the subject, but 6 times he went back to it.

Then - near the end - the ultimate irony. "Terry, this is why people don't believe the news, because it's fake news".

And it wasn't lost on me that in the middle of it we got a small window on Trump's recruitment methodology that might explain his piss-poor Cabinet: "I picked you because, frankly, I've never heard of you, but that's OK"

Extraordinary isn't it. Well done, Terry, is all I can say 👏👏. We need more reporters like him.

It is one of the natural wonders of the world...IMO

Yes, I still naturally wonder how the US got to this point with Trump. Insanity has truly run amok with many Americans.

Off topic, On topic, Off topic, On topic, Topic has lost his mind!

I partly agree with you, because he didn't just fold and agree with Trump, but he tried so hard to help Trump out.

He could have said 'No, he doesn't have that tattooed, it's fake', but instead he said 'It's been debated, but Ukraine...'.

I'm not entirely sure whether they were talking about the same thing or not. The fake thing is the actual letters MS13. I can't work out if Trump was saying the letters were tattooed or whether he was meaning the symbols were tattooed but wasn't saying the letters were. The thing is - the tattooes themselves weren't photoshopped. Maybe they were actually talking slightly at cross-purposes?

There is a photoshopped photo that shows MS13 on his hand. Trump is claiming that that photo is real, and it says MS13 on his hand. It doesn't.

This is the photo in question.

I don't think anyone, other than Thicko Trump thinks the actual MS13 is tattooed on his hand.

The MS13 was clearly added to provide a guide as to the actual tattoos which, it's claimed, represent MS13

Some suggested the 1 had been tweaked to become a sword, and the 3 had been converted into a skull.

Regardless, it's abundantly clear to everyone, but one man it seems, that the actual MS13 is not a tattoo.

Yes I was aware of the photo in question. What I was meaning is that Trump could possibly have been clumsily stating 'It says MS-13' - meaning, the tattoos spell out MS-13.

I cannot believe that even Trump can actually believe that the letters themselves were actually on his hand.

But, but, but - now I look at the transcript - he does actually say 'knuckles' twice, not hand or fingers. I had no idea I could think he was even dumber than I already considered him to be......but he is isn't he. And this man is in charge of the USA.
