Let’s not do these false comparisons again, please.

Fact check: The Nazis established the first concentration camps (including Dachau) in March 1933, following the Reichstag fire. That was two months after Hitler became Chancellor.
To be fair it was actually within two months that trump was sending people rounded up - not all criminals. So he was quicker.

Hitler wrote mein kampf in 1925 right son8 years before. He owned it. Trump pretends he had nothing to do with project 2025.

Its all deflection, and no responsibility taken. Sickening.

The only time Trump has taken responsibility is for being the world's most bestliest golfer ever.

I mentioned Bergen Belsen earlier. It didn’t have the ovens but it was a death camp, as starvation and disease took hold.

There are already unmarked graves, and indefinite incarceration is the only other outcome, at the moment.
No trial, no appeal.
Guantanamo has moved from off shore for Al Queda suspects to onshore for whoever Trump deems an enemy of MAGA (USA)

Guantanamo is still open and has a little publicised holding facility for migrants caught offshore ( separate from the terrorist facility) waiting to be deported.

You may have missed this back in January - it certainly caught my attention; Trump signed an executive order to build a new detention centre at Guantanamo that would increase its capacity to hold migrant prisoners to over 30,000 stating

“Some of them are so bad, we don’t even trust the countries [of origin] to hold them because we don’t want them coming back,” he said. “So we’re going to send them out to Guantánamo. This will double our capacity immediately.”

EDIT
This post needs an edit - - See @AZ Gull’s post below - Trump’s Guantanamo policy went up in smoke last month.

Sadly we still have to keep relations with this current US government cordial. But we should not be signing a trade deal with them at all.

Take the hit and move on, a signal need to be sent. The US is not to be trusted,

The administration have subsequently abandoned those plans -

The collapse of Trump’s Guantanamo plan adds to a growing list of embarrassments

After he's spent some months normalizing sending people ("homegrown are next", says Trump) to El Salvador, there's a good chance he'll go after anyone he wants to disappear: YouTubers that talk against him, politicians, journos...the rule of law is in severe danger of ending in the US.

The fight with the judiciary is warming up. With Congress and Senate in MAGA pockets, it’s the one branch of government that might resist.

Except Trump got a ruling in the Supreme Court just before he was elected that stated when a President is acting in his official capacity, then he is immune from criminal prosecution (which is the judiciary’s ultimate weapon) - SCOTUS may not be in the pockets of Trump or MAGA but they are all wearing coats cut from the same cloth..

Doesn’t mean they can’t go after the underlings in the short term.

Won't cover his underlings though.

Sadly ‘commodities’ that are all very dispensable in the Trump administration - Trump will just disown them.

Sorry but after years of Trump courtroom 101, with two impeachments, numerous indictments and him and his minions being chased through the Courts, months of delays waiting for appeals to the Supreme Court, even with convictions and co-conspirators imprisoned, what changed?

The fcuker still got back into the WH to wreak havoc - charges and indictments dropped - I’m just so fed up with the Rule of Law constantly flouted and delegitimised, I am rapidly losing any faith in the judiciary to check the increasingly unfettered power of the ‘Executive According to Donald J Trump’.

This is bad, really bad.

Unless I've misunderstood what is going on ( Krasnov Derangement Syndrome ? ) then the US is about to get very bad, very shortly.

If I was a US citizen I'd be looking into any means of moving overseas possible to me.

Yes. If the judiciary rule against him he will say 'ok, enact your ruling then...' and I guess the police or whoever won't.

Agreed, there's an increasing chance it gets very bad.
I'm waiting for a trigger, e.g.
- huge protest turnouts this Saturday, and riot police deployed?
- protest(s) turn ugly and Trump wants martial law in that city?
- all the Supreme court dismissed?
- balaclavad ICE 'police' beaten up by supporters of the person they are detaining prior to deportation?

How many firearms in the US? 400 million civilian owned 🤔
