I predict that Trump is one of the most important political people of all time.

... but not for the right reasons.

I predict that just as Marx predicted, he is creating the perfects conditions for extreme inequality of wealth and as a result, class consciousness. Just as Marx predicted, this will result in people revolting against the capitalist system and inadvertently resulting in communism.

America's fallacy and century old dogma that state ownership is bad will be ended as their reputation and their economy is destroyed. Services will be state owned and returned to the people. Those with extreme wealth will lose it, for the benefit of those that don't.

Revolution is probably coming as this capitalist system comes to its end.

Thank you Donald Trump.
Keep dreaming

I fail to see the humorous element In all of this. What the bonkers eejut has done will cause nothing but harm to Joe Public worldwide.

But it is always hilarious when you get a few "I never thought leopards would eat MY face", sobbed the woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces party" isn't it ?

Oh, I can see where you're coming from, almost as if even you have realised you have a pension somewhere. Sorry.

Vote for the Blue rosette whatever happens, what could possibly go wrong

If Marx is correct, then they won't even realise it is happening.

When the suffering people rise up, an inadvertent transitional socialist state will emerge, as goods and services become owned by the people, purely because it is the only remaining option.

This occurs to eliminate the class structures (super rich, the rich, and everyone else) and redistribute the wealth more fairly.

Trump and his nationist advisors did not plan this all along. As spun tonight.

The rollercoaster for businesses in the US and elsewhere has created uncertainty, halting investment decisions. For the man in the street that means job losses.
Absolutely, no plan!
They backed down because of retaliatory tarifs from China, EU, impact on the US bond market and stock market.

Did we see Scott Bessant bumbling his way through the live press questions 😬.

Aided by the b1tch, going on about The Art Of The Deal. Written by a journalist, never read by Trump and complete fiction.

Francois Mitterrand took on the bond market. He lost.

Liz Truss took on the bond market. She lost.

Donald Trump took on the bond market. Now he’s lost.

Reality holds, once again.

Press conference, he’s darting all over the place. When trade disputes are mentioned, he boasts about the power of US weapons, no one has weapons anything like us.

The silly boasting about today’s Wall Street rises, the greatest ever. Following a week of far greater falls.

And he said something like " I'm sure the stock market will rise further...this country is stronger than it's ever been..." , yes, on the back of global trade,!!!
He's just an idiot actor.
