I mean, excellent overstates it, but yeh he did a decent job.

Across all his appearances, I think we can fairly conclude he's had a pretty disastrous debut season.

Part of me thinks he might be one of those players who will come good with a run of games. There have been plenty of players who don't impress with the odd sub appearance, but play them game in game out, they will start to look good. I feel like O'Riley might be like this as well. I guess the problem the problem is though, you're dropping players who have been performing. And when are you playing a game you can afford to drop points to acclimatise a player?

I can see Weiffer being loaned next season. I think we'll bring in Yalcouye, plus enough full backs that Hinsh won't have to fill in there and Mats won't fancy being 5th of 6th choice

What is the point of loaning out a player who is 26? He'll be given another season to hopefully be injury free and prove himself, if that doesn't happen or he can't have a bigger impact/cut out stupid mistakes then he'll be sold.

So don't play a high line then............ why would they come with a low block? They have to try to win this one as much as we do. Their entire week will be around training to sit a bit and look to counter, if we don't take the game to them in that way then at some point they need to change their game plan.

I said at the time that I'd have rather lost to that lot 3-1 than lose JPvH for Leicester.

I think they will absolutely come with a low block. Even though it's defensive it's absolutely the most likely way for a limited side to get the points at the AMEX. There are masses of examples of this

The challenge will be that we will have a lot of possession and therefore push up the pitch the way we play... then (as we have seen so many times this season) lose the ball and get done on the counter with our pants down. I don't see us sitting back and spraying long balls to welbeck at home whatever happens.

Making the pitch bigger will help us more than them, if our back 4 don't push up as much then I can't see theirs doing it either as Minteh, Mitoma and Pedro would have a field day, which means that there is more space in the midfield, I'd back our midfielders to be creative more than theirs. The high line has cost us multiple times this season, after Chelsea we stopped doing it for a bit, then seemed to bring it back vs Palace, lost and stopped doing it, then Forest, hammered and stopped doing it, Villa back again = disaster, but then we didn't stop, we did it AGAIN vs Palace. We cannot play this system with Lewis Dunk and no real RB, it really is that simple. FFS bin it until next season when we can get another CB in who can.

I also REALLY question whoever decided Cashin was a good fit, given our manager's preferred style. I wish him all the best but honestly why is he here?

Vardy is still pretty quick. Five years ago he was blisteringly fast and would have been licking his lips at the defensive line he'll see on Saturday. His threat these days is more manageable, as shown by his goal record. I still think he'll score against us though

Burn ain't quick, but had no trouble against him yesterday bar the first 30 seconds.

I agree 100%. Sitting low and hitting teams on the counter can win you games. I think that is exactly what they think and will do like you said.

The kind of game it is might depend on Leicester's approach. If they still want to fight to survive they have to go for a win. In that case I would be confident we can win by outscoring them. If they are just looking for respectability they might look to frustrate us, in which case I am less confident.

I would imagine they will have 10 behind the ball and try to hit us on a lucky break - Aka villa first goal.

We chased him long and hard, so the magic algorithm must have computed something. There's a million miles between a struggling Derby side and an on fire Villa. I would give him the full 90 minutes and then make a judgement, but I am tending to initially lean to your thinking.
