Three at the back + triple pivot? We have the depth at CM for it

We should put training wheels on the team bus as well. If we need six defensive central players against Leicester then its clearly a dangerous world out there.

I was thinking one of them - Gomez probably - would push up in possession

IMO Cashin should start, and should be fine with Dunky holding his hand.
Half expecting us to gift them a goal with f.a.a.t.b. though.

Rumours of Charlie Tasker playing so, if true, could be to get hinsh into CM:

Bart

Tasker
Dunk
Baleba
Perv

Hinsh
Gomez

Minteh
O'Riley
Adringa

Welbeck

March, Weiffer, Ayari, Cashin, Pedro, GK, +3

Try and outscore Leicester!

I've erased that from my memory so I'll have to trust you on the accuracy of that score line!

To be clear, I think playing one central midfielder is madness. I think Hürzeler will play a minimum of three but it's where he positions them that is the critical bit.

Like Potter, his formations chop and change during the game. The critical formation against Leicester will be the one where we have comfortable possession and all our players except Bart are in the opposition half against a deep block. We play two at the back in these circumstances. I imagine it'll look something like this if we want some pace to cover Dunk at CB.

--------------------Verbruggen----------------------
--------------Dunk-------------Estupiñán-----------
----------------------Baleba--------------------------
-----------Wieffer-------------Gomez----------------
Minteh----O'Riley---Welbeck---Pedro----Adingra

This could then transform into a 5-4-1 when we are under pressure.

--------------------Verbruggen----------------------
Minteh--Wieffer-----Dunk----Baleba-----Estupiñán
------O'Riley----Pedro---Gomez----Adingra-------
----------------------Welbeck------------------------

Just need to get Hinshelwood in the team somewhere!
Surely ahead of Weiffer - every day of the week? I've not seen anything from Weiffer yet that suggests he is up for it; lightweight, clumsy and slow of thought. Hope he comes good but at present I would stick with the tried and tested Hinsh.

Some bravery from Hurz if he decides to give Tasker the chance in a back line that already has a lot of uncertainty baked into it. Personally can't see it.

I think I am right in saying first time he tried 3 at back when Dunk came on at half time against Southampton and repeated next game at Fulham Both were a disaster.

They’ll quite possibly start their 15yr old winger (debuted against Toon) and they’ve a 19yr old striker ready to debut. Both fast. Both tricky. Both with no fear and brim full of confidence.
Three at the back (and a slow three at that) would be crazy

The more I read about this Leicester game and potential line-ups, the more I think the customary couple of pints of Harveys pre-match won't be enough.
Might need to up-the-ante to get through this one.

If Jeremy Monga does start it will mean he has started for Leicester against our U-18s, our U-21s AND our first team this season - that must be some sort of record if it happens!

Even if he just play at all it must be very unusual.

Haywards Heath
Verbruggen
Hinsh - Dunk - Cashin - Estupinan
Baleba - Ayari
Minteh - Gruda - Adingra
Pedro

Depending on what we need I would be thinking along the lines of:

Subs
Pedro - Welbeck
Gruda - O’Riley
Baleba - Wieffer
Ayari - Gomez
Minteh - March
