Slow learner he may be - but he's done that learning with the Albion. Doesn't need to do it all over again at West Ham. Wonder how they'll look next season.Plodder won't be afforded the luxury of 2 seasons of nothing special at West Ham. That slow a learner wouldn't be tolerated anywhere else either at this level apart from at the Albion
He’s got a French international in goal, a £40m CB, a CM who was about to move to City for £80m, 2 genuinely international quality wingers in Kudus and Bowen, and Germany’s main striking option, but yeah, shit squad.
He did more with Locadia than he’s doing with West Ham’s riches.
Good LordI was there for every game at the Amex. The club flourished despite him, not because of him. Where exactly were you for Plodder's previous two full seasons?
GPot's last 15 games were brilliant, if we're being honest. If we go back 25 then it includes him losing 6 on the spin and drawing at home to Norwich.Good Lord
His last 25 matches were brilliant, as were the next 40 under De Zerbi. It's really that simple.
Blaming him for two prior seasonsBecause obviously Hughton left a picture perfect set up for him.

They do. He had a strong finish and a good start within his final few months. The other two years were frustrating, goal limited events.12 of 14 games were.
People always add on a few more for good measure.
He has never been able to understand that the job that needed doing to completely transform our entire way of playing from 'backs-to-the-wall stay in the Premier League at all costs' to 'expansive, attacking football regularly challenging for European qualification" isn't something you can do overnight. And that Potter doing it in 2.5 seasons without ever having us even close to being in danger of getting relegated, was a very impressive achievement. In fact, I'd argue that it's never actually been successfully done in the Premier League before.Good Lord

Pure after-timing projection. There's not another chairman in the EPL who would have given Plodder a third season to luck into some kind of rhythm with that set of players at his disposal. There will always be some kind of excuse as to why he won't be able to luck into the same kind of rhythm anywhere else. Couldn't do it at Chelsea, isn't doing it at West Ham, won't do it at his next job that is commutable from Hove. He really isn't very good. His entire managerial CV screams mediocrityHe has never been able to understand that the job that needed doing to completely transform our entire way of playing from 'backs-to-the-wall stay in the Premier League at all costs' to 'expansive, attacking football regularly challenging for European qualification" isn't something you can do overnight. The idea that RDZ could have taken on that Hughton squad and done what he did with us in a season or two is absolutely laughable. Potter set that squad up for him perfectly. As usual, it was a masterstroke by Bloom to hire the right men at the right time.
Whatever he does there is a reason why his sides rarely score, personally I think the transitions aren’t quick enough plodding through the lines won’t get you many goals.Pure after-timing projection. His light bulb moment was playing Caceido up until that point it was nothing to write home about.12 of 14 games were.

Two things. On the bit in bold, no, there isn't, but that's why we have the best chairman in the league. He's not some fan making kneejerk reactions, and RDZ got an amazing opportunity to pick up a team in fine fettle.Pure after-timing projection. Would can arguably say RDZ completely changed the tactics and turned the side into one of the top scoring teams in Europe. He didn’t just pick up from where Potter left the side. Two things. On how he does at other clubs? Not really that bothered. He was a necessary appointment here that took us from A to B and I don't think there are many people inside the club that agree with your sentiment.
I would question who is doing the after-timing. How come the reaction of the vast majority when Chelsea came calling was, "NOOooo!' - our collective mojo slumped to the floor; we were buggered - just as we were getting somewhere bloody Chelsea come in and steal our manager. It was NOT regarded as good news! There might have been the odd voice or two in the wilderness (probably yours) shouting hallelujah and good riddance, but the idea that everyone was heaving a sigh of relief when 'Plodder' left us 4th. in the League and playing beautifully definitely looks like after-timing!Pure after-timing projection.
