£65/£75 to watch it on a screen? Ffs. Just toss the stream off and sell Fatboy Slim tickets for that price and be done with it.
How many trains will there be at 2am in the morning? Seems well over-priced I be amazed if they sell many tickets. That said it will no doubt be sold out tomorrow!

Don't sweat it. I reckon about 80% of my WSU cohort don't bother to wash their hands. And the irony that if they did they'd have to extend half time as not enough sinks to actually cope!
i think more urinals are the priority and maybe some of that covid hands soap stuff is a quicker method to get hands washed than sinks?

I’m going to the palace beam back so hopefully the terrace will run like clockwork !
I was hoping there might be a late release of beamback tickets so I could go with Mrs Earle(I've got parking just in case) but after reading this thread I'm not sure we'd want to be in there!

Lovely to have a nice place for drinks and food but what about improving some of the basics e.g. men's toilets in WSU. Two 20 meter queues to get in and then 4 deep for both walls of urinals. The sinks are in adequate and badly placed , need I say more.
All spot on. As I have said before the WSU is the forgotten area of the stadium.

Find this "forgotten area of the stadium" stuff hilarious as it sounds like pretty much anywhere in the stadium on matchdays.

One member of our Marseille travel crew was with us in the WSU on Saturday - his season ticket is in the East Lower - and he immediately said "This is a lot nicer than the East Lower - you have daylight!"

Of course, what he doesn't know is that at the beginning and end of each season, that daylight turns the WSU into the world's biggest sauna!

High cost due to the internationally renowned DJ playing the venue after the awards ceremony until 2am. Wonder who the DJ will be?
It's crazy though, Fatboy Slim DJing at proper nightclubs is a fraction of the cost. He's doing a 14 hr set in New York and the tickets are $34.00.

14 hours? I find this hard to believe.

To be fair, we paid £49.50 a pop to see him at The Old Market in Hove and that was 2019. Similarly, small venue which made it a great gig. It was a fundraiser though. This does feel a bit rich. I think the ticketing website is a bit vague ... saying unreserved seated/standing for instance when it looks like everyone is guaranteed a seat.

The big pull of the Players Awards', I think, is that people want to be around the players. Maybe they'd have been better just to call this a Fatboy Slim gig (assuming it's him) with some food and drink thrown in and the chance to watch the awards first. That would actually sound a more attractive proposition to me, even though it's the same thing. Hard mentally to get beyond '£65 to watch the awards on telly, no thanks'.
