We weren't allowed to play. That's what Forest do and why they are where they are.
Not forgetting a major contribution by the ref.

And to even get there, we had to win other big games... and did. So we win "big games" sometimes. Ok, not a club that has "winning!" ingrained in the walls, but not one that always loses important games either. If that was the case we'd have been relegated a few times and never made Europe. This was a home tie in the quarterfinals of the FA CUP, that nearly all the big teams have been eliminated, with a great chance of winning our first ever trophy, so yes was a big game
That’s where I am now. Supporting bloody Citeh
FH had no change of tactics to counter their defensive setup, I would of thought he might of tried something different, but no same old way ,
I got home at 3.30Horrendous journey home last night. M23 closed at Crawley, M25 closed at Leatherhed, roadworks around the A3 on the diversion. Got home at 2.45am, thank goodness it was a 5.15 kick off![]()
Likewise. Certainly don't want villa or Palace winning it. Forest maybe but mainly the winners of Bournemouth CityStrangely enough I'm with you on this one. Citeh win it and we all go ' meh whatever '. The wankfest over a Forest would be nauseating and of course Palace would be the stuff of nightmares![]()

You were lucky, I was quite a long way back in the park and ride queue after the game so I’m guessing I hit the motorway after you. These journeys aren’t too bad when you win, but losing on penalties and then getting stuck in diversions isn’t much fun.I got home at 3.30. There were loads of signs saying M25 was shut but when I got there it wasn’t. It looked like it was about to so got lucky.
I actually thought the ref was poor for both sides. The last time we played them we lost 7-0, so we obviously made some changes. And (appreciating I'm repeating myself) the ref was against us.
Thought Milenkovic was brilliant for them too. Think he got mom on from bbc team?I actually thought the ref was poor for both sides.
I have some sympathy for refs these days. Players fall down at the slightest of touches. I thought Harty was going to be called when our Brazilian centre forward went down like he had been shot…only to leap up like Lazarus …exactly as the lump at the back kept doing.
if we were looking to spend big I would offer serious money for Aina the forest right back. I thought he was the best player on the park by miles. What a find he was
Agreed. I can’t stand the moaning about refs being ‘against us’. We have plenty of theatrical players like Joao Pedro, JPVH, Veltman etc. who make life really difficult for the officials.I actually thought the ref was poor for both sides.

That was Pervis, JBH.I actually thought the ref was poor for both sides.

Who was, Roman scum? That was Pervis, JBH.
Or for a club owned by Saudi Arabia.Yes and no. I can handle the love in provided it's not for bloody Palace.
The Albion player writhing in agony and then leaping up to thwart a Forest player.Who was, Roman scum?
But a lot of that type of coverage is purely down to it being a bigger/better story than City winning something again. If you think about all the time needed to fill all the pre-match nonsense, it's easier for broadcasters to rely on the underdog or the team with history in the competition, rather than just talking about a team that has won the cup recently, winning the cup again.I think I'd rather Man City win the Cup than have this bloody "Newcastle style" love-in for the team that hasn't won anything for
60 years b**lox.
