Gutted, but they deserved it. Just feels a missed opportunity with who's left in.
Meh dunno. On their day all remaining teams are probably better than us apart from Preston.Gutted, but they deserved it. Just feels a missed opportunity with who's left in.
Right now I need two positivesTo lose on penalties and there not being any programmes available on the way up from Falmer station or in the West upper is a bad day.
Two very evenly matched teams. Forest clearly had the better of the first half, we grew back into the game by the second half.
By the second half of extra time we were bossing play, but couldn’t find a finish. I applaud the effort, cruel to lose on pens, and no blame attached to Jack or Diego. Well done lads, on to Villa, and we try for a cup again next season.
But how often do you get a final 8 with only one of the "Big 6."Meh dunno. On their day all remaining teams are probably better than us apart from Preston.
Nah, the coach got them up from a 7-0 we’ll be okNever deserved to win that. Biggest concern is trying to pick the guys up for Wednesday. Few injuries, going over 120 mins, losing... Gonna take some effort to get over it so quickly.
Villa on the other hand will probably put a poor side out tomorrow and breeze through
I am sure they have praised penalties in training.i blame FH for allowing Hinsh to take the penalty. Hes as wee little lad who has never shown he has a massive powerful shot in him. Woulda thought Adingra over Hinsh any day.
We lose an hours sleep tonight too as well as to Forest.Right now I need two positives
As much as I thought we had an off day, I wasn't impressed with Forest. Excellent pair of defenders of course, but 3rd in the League? The table does not outright lie, but it does a bit in this case.Forest a strong team. This is their glory season, when 22/23 was ours.
Not sure the order was the issue so much as more experienced players not being In the fiveIf Dunk is such an assured pen taker why did hinch take one ahead of him, 2 ahead in fact! Too young and looked nervous crumbled under pressure. Others shouldve come forward.
Rutter on crutches and a cyberman leg during the shootout. Hopefully not as bad as it looked. But he looked like he knew it was bad when he hobbled offfingers crossed on the injuries
Don't know where you get that from, it was never a pen and correctly ruled out!plus VAR got you out of jail
Forest are a well drilled team, playing the opposite way to most of the other teams around them. This season it is paying dividends. As much as I thought we had an off day, I wasn't impressed with Forest. Excellent pair of defenders of course, but 3rd in the League? The table does not outright lie, but it does a bit in this case.
Might not be the most entertaining side but they are strong direct and bloody good at it!As much as I thought we had an off day, I wasn't impressed with Forest. Excellent pair of defenders of course, but 3rd in the League? The table does not outright lie, but it does a bit in this case.
