He developed Paypal, saved X, developed Starlink , tesla and the space programme and is now redesigning central government .

And now you and others are claiming or implying your former idol is some kind of low IQ grifter?

There is a good reason Democrat ratings are tanking in the polls, 31% I believe and Trumps are going through the roof.
When you make claims (that are clearly bullshit) it is customary to provide your sources (they will be poor, but its always good for a laugh).

With this in mind please provide the evidence for 'Your former idol' and 'Trumps (ratings) are going through the roof'

So you read the NY Times article? Do you mind sharing it with those who haven't paid? Its behind a firewall.

Who are you calling a clown again?

No pay wall for me. There are 15 pages of polls so I won't copy the lot. Here's page 1:

dems down to 27%.
Meanwhile, the latest NBC News and CNN polls show the party has hit its lowest approval ratings on record: 27% and 29%, respectively.

Republicans are planning mass arrests of those in charge of NGOs organising the Tesla riots. That would include Alex Soros and possibly George.

On Wednesday night, FBI deputy director Dan Bongino said the agency is investigating attacks targeting Tesla.

One day earlier, Attorney General Pam Bondi threatened "severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes."

Brilliant!! 🤣🤣

You claim that Trumps ratings and through the roof.

Evidence is provided to show that this is a massive lie.

You then ignore that evidence and go on to attack the democrats and bang on about their ratings (which no one contested).

You are a clown of the highest order and show the intellect and critical thinking levels requited to support this shower of shit.

the Tyler Durden character complaining of unhinged democrats and domestic terrorism, attacks on a corporation tied in to federal government, is head spinnnig levels of irony.

The only thing I do find sad about the slow death of Tesla is that it genuinely was the flag bearer for electric cars. If you named the brand that was synonymous with electric cars it was Tesla and they were one of the first companies that made electric cars that actually looked good. A lot of the increase in interest in electric cars comes from them being the leading light and it's partly because of that there's now a swathe of cheaper, great quality electric cars on the market. They proved that there was a market.

They were never going to last under Musk from the moment "the electric car guy" aligned himself with a climate denying Government that's focused on selling more Dodge RAMs to Germany.
Sort of. Tesla was always going to be ahead of legacy manufactures (who already had huge petrol and diesel ranges) because it was a startup focused on EVs solely.

The cars really aren't all that, though - not compared with the stuff that is coming through now and Tesla hasn't really moved the game on in recent years. Even if he hadn't have got involved in politics Tesla would have been caught by lots of others.

But him being odd is nothing new. I first encountered him back in 2014 and he was a weirdo control freak then!

He developed Paypal,
No he didnt
He turned it into a right wing echo chamber of misinformation and hate
developed Starlink ,
He bought his way into it, it's not his creation
He bought his way into it, it's not his creation. He also bullied a small business, harassing then until they would give up the name Tesla.
and the space programme
He has nothing to do with it, he simply bought into it.
and is now redesigning central government .
Committing mass fraud and corruption. Cutting crucial jobs who they can't rehire once they realise their f*** up.
And now you and others are claiming or implying your former idol is some kind of low IQ grifter?
He's absolutely a grifter, he jumps from group to group, whatever will make line go up.

Democrat rankings are down because they're not doing anything.

Trumps rating is not good. It's at an all time high for him, but still in the red. That's not going through the roof.

He only owns some of Tesla, and the other shareholders must be desperate to get him out.

The trackers for executive share dealings show that all the people at the top have sold all of the shares they are awarded as soon as they can. There are no records of executive buys for over a year. This is very unusual.

The stock price is artificially high. The price to earnings ratio is in excess of 120. This is crazy for an established company.

The price is supported by fans of Musk. It's a cult. If he was driven out the price would fall even faster. Irrespective of his recent behaviour Tesla, by any sensible analysis, isn't worth a quarter of its current market capitalisation.

At some point it may well completely collapse.

Edit. ....it's still up on 12 months

Yep, PayPal is correct. I'll have to look into his 'development' of Starlink & the space programme, as it's already been established that he just bought Tesla.
Yep I'll also agree that he is redesigning US Government. I 'think' I read the other day that they're trying to rehire 25,000 employees that Musk decided were due to be redesigned. It was in mainstream media so may not be accurate but I'll look to find it later as I'm multi tasking (I'm not good at that).

What do you mean by this sentence you wrote?
And now you and others are claiming or implying your former idol is some kind of low IQ grifter?

Yep, PayPal is correct.
It depends what you mean by 'developed'. Others developed as in 'created' paypal. Then merged with X.com to develop it as in 'grow'.

I just Googled 'Musk and PayPal'! 😁 It said he was the co-founder of X.com which then became PayPal. I did say in my post that I was already multi tasking & couldn't look into anything deeply.
I'm hoping my question about 'former idol's' is answered to be honest. I think I was being portrayed as some leftie, woke, green person but I think electric cars are a bit s**t practically. I'd never remember to charge it if I had one. I want to know what's happening to all the batteries when they reach the end of life & what resources are being put into making them in the 1st place.
I 'dunno' but when you realise that a country like Ukraine is rich in lithium & people like Trump & Musk are trying to take a slice of it, it diminishes further the potential environmental plusses of going electric, it makes me cynical. It wasn't that long ago that everyone was encouraged to buy diesel cars as a cheaper & greener alternative to petrol, that didn't work out very well. I'll never own a car anyway, so my thoughts are irrelevant. 🤷‍♀️
