HiA Hurtigruten leaflet fell out of a magazine (not Razzle) I'm subscribed to, which looked interesting- basically a ferry service.
yes it is.
my brother in law and wife did it a couple of years ago.
they were really happy with it. You fly to Norway and pick up the ship and yes, it works its way up the coast stopping off at loads of ports as it is basically a post ship. The cabins and food were excellent
one of the quirky things it does is you may visit 3 or 4 ports a day just for a small time. Also they took excursions whereby the ship drops them off and the coach or train catches up with the ship at the next port….
they did the northern lights thing but said the really odd visit was to the Russian border which is in the middle of A frozen lake and you were under no illusions that if you stepped over the “ border line” you would get shot at! Everyone was very respectful of where they were.
