I think Private Eye has this wrong, I have seen him in the pub supping a pint so I am pretty sure he is a man of the people and has our best interest at heart.

It is an integral parts of simple rural working class life.
Banning it is wrong.
It. Is. A. Disgrace.
Maybe we need to change the electoral system so that a rural vote is worth the equivalent of 3 or 4 'towny' votes.
That would redress the balance currently dominated by Metropolitan Elites,
and create a fair system that favours the people who put the food on your plate.
A system like they have in America!
Which ensures that good right wing patriots win, with the backing of the rural heartland,
whatever the East and West coast elites think.

"Nigel Farage has distanced himself from Donald Trump's approach to Ukraine ceasefire talks, saying Russia appears to be "getting far too much".
The Reform UK leader told the BBC he "would not be 100% with" the current stance of the US president's team in negotiations to end the conflict.
