Fair enough, but it does actually piss me off a bit. A website called 'Sussex.com' should be a celebration of our glorious homeland, not the vanity project of a couple of Californian-based arseholes (my opinion) who have nothing to do with us.
I think you want http://sussex.co.uk/

.com not being a uk centric suffix, I have no idea why the tantrums. Especially as the domain was first registered in 1995 - there was plenty of time for someone to use it for the purpose of its namesake county.

had 30 years to make such a site. look like domain was used by IBM for a while, then held by a cyber squater. bet they ponied up a nice sum for the name.

seeing above, sussex.co.uk more appropriate anyway.

Hell will freeze over before I accept that Sussex doesn't exist.
It’s as well that “Sussex“ doesn’t exist any more, or perhaps he is East and she is West.
Either way they have got big North and Souths on them.
Well, I'm with Sid.

What in the Lower Dicker gives you the right to say that Sussex doesn't exist ?

Just because some admin clerk decided to draw a few lines after they came back pissed from The Jugs one afternoon in 1974, it doesn't mean we have been partitioned.

I appreciate our family in the West may need surgery to remove their heads from their posteriors sometimes, but they are still part of the Sussex family.

Yes, I'm aware, and I think 'tantrums' is a bit strong. I am mildly pissed off as I think 'Sussex.com' should be about Us and not Them. However other viewpoints are available. (And my own personal website is a .com - and I am very much a UK-based entity!)

Let's have it right - Under the feudal system Harry has earned the title by serving his country in the armed forces

The Sussex.com domain's been live since January 1995 - any concerned citizens have had over 28 years to secure its welfare since...

We're not the only Sussex.

If only someone who actually gave a shite about it did something about it before like, I dunno, buy the domain name?! Or, if they had it already, keep hold of it?

Honestly, the mundane stuff that people (many of whom are those that call other people 'snowflakes' – I'm not including you, Brovion) get triggered about is laughable. So Harry and Meghan have got a new web address that probably won't affect you in the slightest? Go and get a similar one if you're that fussed!

Because they are a couple of self righteous c*nts that have got f*ck all to do with Sussex and do nothing for the people of this county. If they want to call themselves the Duke & Duchess of Whining & Moaning or California then fine, fill yer boots, but take our name out of it.

Sussex has existed since the 5th century (apparently - I'd take any specific dates with a pinch of salt).

I think they only had DOS and LANs back then.
West Sussex since the 4th century.
