I mean I don’t mean to take the piss about paid review writing for local rags - something I’ve done myself of course and to put me one up in this pissing contest, for nationals too, it’s just that if you were being honest, love of the arts has got absolutely nothing to do with your presence in this thread, has it? This is more about the general tone of politically reactionary politics you deposit on NSC, this is your true motivation for spouting off
I merely pointed out his poetry is gash. Which it is. I don’t like Corbyn, this is true. But if he’d turned out a crafted, interesting piece of work I would’ve said something like “well, he found his true calling at last. This is rather good, I didn’t know he had it in him”. But he didn’t.

Trudge, trudge, trudge
Wind whips, whippet
Mud
Trudge
Yolk of the proletariat.

Thou bist.
Up there, carrion.
Trudge, trudge, trudge.
On the back of man
A weight, bears down.

EJ Tackle age 55 and 3/4

The enemy arrives in old dusty buses
No bags or smiles as they alight
Memories of thrashings and one-sided attacks
Cold, cold days on fields of stone
Chasing Blue and White up and down

Segregated by grey metal fences
Beating rhythms for the fight
Chanting songs of rebellion to a hostile crowd
Resenting long years in shit hole home
Chasing Blue and White up and down

Fear etched deep on shell-shocked faces
Recent seasons so unkind
No rest for the weary, taking a stand in the South
Shots on target have been allowed
Blue and White jumping up and down

Rivals defeated by cold sea breezes
Drums lie silent and gone is the crowd
From the Amex behind them as buses head home
The sound of Blue and White singing
‘You are fcuking going down!’

He's a racist. It defines him, as does his narcissism & his tragically overconfident stupidity.
An insignificant blank piece of paper that naive or bigoted people projected their hopes & prejudices onto.
Just a racist Chauncey Gardner.
Yes, I 'dare'. Cry more

I’ve always found it curious that in 40 years as an MP Corbyn didn’t have one accusation of antisemitism until he became Labour leader, and then , he suddenly became a lifelong anti semite.

Strange that.

It’s poetry but not as we knowetry that’s for sure, I’m starting to think @attila is in fact a decent poet after all 😉

People didn’t publish Rishi’s tax return until he became PM. Higher the office, higher the scrutiny, simple.

Increasing taxes, Keynesian pump-priming investment strategies. But keep reading those newspapers owned by the rich that tell you that’s all voodoo. Rich people’s investment in opinion-making is paying off, for them certainly
Ah, that old chestnut,... so squeeze anyone who produces and employs,... increase the inflated self entitlement of those who don't.... Outcome: said employer leaves country, takes production and employment with them.... proletariat get nothing, mass unemployment and civil unrest ensue.

Can you point me in the direction of any actual, proven instances of Corbyn personally being anti semitic in word or action.

As I said you are devoid of shame. Any level of lying about a decent man will do for you given your levels of malice. Cry more, yes I’m sad for one of the very few English politicians who have dedicated their entire life to the fight against racism in this country while the rest of the principals-free careerists in both parties dance their jig to stop the boats. You can have your little online jargon because it befits the moral seriousness of your politics
The tragedy is you are right. I accept he unwittingly shared a platform with terrorists. And I accept that it rankled with him that people keep on going on about maltreatment of the Jews, when the Palestinians don't get any of the same sort of global attention. I understand how it must annoy him that people keep on banging on about anti-Semitism when there are all sorts of other racisms that are equally bad.

But if someone paints an anti-Semitic mural, it simply isn't good enough for a political leader to tweet approval, then later say that hadn't actually seen the mural. And when asked if they condemn anti-Semitism they refuse to do so, time after time, insisting instead they disapprove of all nastiness, until eventually explicitly condemning anti-Semitism through gritted teeth, then recanting almost immediately, resulting in censure from Starmer.

No, Corbyn isn't anti-Semitic. He is simply a man without the team-spirit to be a member of a mainstream political party, where compromise is essential. And that's before I get on to the hundreds of times he voted with his principles - against his own party. And as for someone like this becoming leader of a party....... the fact that he is open to accusations of anti-Semitism, even though he isn't anti-Semitic, merely someone who is open to the views of anti-Semites, and willing to meet them half way, on a platform at a fringe meeting for example, speaks of a naivety one would expect of the owner of a small book shop in Islington, a man in bicycle clips cycling to a 'Free Palestine' jumble sale. A man who made labour unelectable. Even when the opposition was lead by Boris the Liar.

Anyway, he's gone now. Long gone.

lol yeah but not serious attempt - a quickly written piss take of Corbyn’s mundane roses are red violets are blue contributions to the literary world of modern poetry 😉

Over-dramatising a game of football with Palace seemed a neat way of doing it.

PS perhaps it was too obscure for the average NSCer 😂

lol don’t insult anyone’s intelligence, you would never say anything complimentary about him, you are too far gone for that

Our taxes on the weallty are the lowest of any modern advanced nation in Western Europe, embarrassing stuff to say there would be civil unrest just to put them back to where they were in the past when we had functioning public services

Given you failed to even acknowledge or respond to a very long reply to a similar previous comment from you. I suspect any response that challenges your view with evidence would be ignored anyway

He may not be anti semitic himself but he surrounds himself with people who are and is reguarly unlucky that he writes forewords for books and endorses murals or attends wreath laying ceremonies for people, or stands on platforms next to but just behind banners that are anti semitic.

He is at best a naive fool with the diplomacy skills of bernard manning. Not great criteria for a prime minister.
