Driving to the Gym
I used to work with someone who went to the gym EVERY. SINGLE. LUNCHTIME.

He would also use the lift to get to and from our 4th floor office EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

This is even though the lift came up 2 floors just to reach him at ground level (basement and lower ground before ground floor) so it was just as quick (often quicker) to take the stairs. Going down was even more stupid as he waited for it to come up 6 floors to then go down to ground rather than walk down 4 floors (easily half the time).

Saving his energy for a treadmill I guess? 🤷🏻‍♂️ (twat)

accepting the SUV as a valid class of motor vehicle. other class of vehicle have a niche they work well at, even the genuine 4x4. the SUV fails to be good at anything other than taking up more space than it should. the public lap them up though instead of proper cars with better visbility and internal space.

Exactly what I was going to say. I'll add in pickup trucks on this side of the Atlantic too. The dumbest vehicles.

It's generally around election time. The chancellor gives money away and the public don't think they will have to pay it back.

Or when the Tories announced they were going to abolish inheritance tax and everyone whose folks were soon to cop it thought it would actually affect them

Bitch about drink driving laws in the 60s.

Bitch about speed limits (70s to noughties).

Bitch about unaffordable housing for their kids while NIMBYing about housing developments

Continuing to thing that casino capitalism will make them rich.
