It happens when you consolidate your position in the PL - the money is in the PL and players want to play for teams that play in that division (and don't expect to be relegated).

Tuesday's summary:-
Lewis Dunk started for England and played the whole match in the 3-1 win over Scotland. He was rather good, wasn't he?
Wee Billy Gilmour started for Scotland but was subbed off after 60 minutes.
Pascal Gross came on as a 25th minute sub, and picked up a booking, as Germany beat France 2-1.
Kaoru Mitoma was an unused sub as Japan beat Turkey 4-2.
Simon Adingra was named as a sub for the Ivory Coast but their friendly at home to Mali was abandoned at half-time at 0-0 due to a waterlogged pitch.
Samy Chouchane was an unused sub as Tunisia beat Egypt 3-1.
Facundo Buonanotte is not in the Argentinian matchday squad - they currently lead Bolivia 2-0.
Pervis Estupinan has started for Ecuador who currently trail 1-0 to Uruguay.
Cam Peupion started for the Olyroos, scored a worldie free-kick after 12 minutes and played 74 minutes which helped the Aussies draw 1-1 with Tajikistan and thereby qualify for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar next April.
Andrew Moran captained the ROI U-21s and played the whole match as they beat San Marino 3-0.
Killian Cahill was an unused sub for the ROI U-21s.
Ed Turns captained the Wales U-21s and played the whole match as they beat Lithuania 3-2.
Freddie Simmonds played the whole match for the England U-17s as they beat Spain 4-1.

All in all a successful round of Internationals and touch wood no injuries.
And it gets done all over again in a month's time. Bloody annoying

time to kick san marino, latvia, malta etc into pre qualifiying and have less games.
Hopefully no injuries, but Estupinan, for one, is going to arrive back in the UK this afternoon at the absolute earliest, after 2 games in 4 days, followed by a long-haul flight to a significantly different time zone - and have little or no opportunity to train ahead of the United game.
