10 goals from 7.1xG is some turnaround from the pre-RDZ era!

As much as his finishing has improved, it's his movement that's got him a lot of those goals - spotting an opportunity and then busting a gut to arrive in the area at just the right time to get on the end of a slide-rule pass or cross. I can think of about 5 or 6 along those lines off the top of my head this year.

Yes. His goals yesterday were because he had more desire to get in the box than the Wolves defender had to get back. Interestingly they were more the type of goals you would expect to see from an out and out striker rather than a cut inside sort of winger

The other thing which I think is helping Solly is that he has genuine pressure on his place. The days where he could play nicely but miss 3 or 4 chances per game and still get picked every week are gone. Adingra is right behind him and is showing he can score.

I reckon Solly needs that focus, he needs to understand what the expectations are. That is why RDZ has gone public with the 15 goals target

Yep, and let's not forget the two passes to him from Enciso, both of which were absolutely sublime.

Yes with seriously world class players. Solly is good but not that good !!
Who plays on the right for England?
Saka

The position is Saka's, so anytime he is fit, everyone else is back up.

I love March and think he is worth consideration - but he's also competing with Jarrod Bowen and Harvey Barnes who are similar players outside of the squad at present.

I actually think Solly is more worth a place in a tournament squad - his versatility on top of his real talent, makes him a valuable option.

Definitely ramming a few thoughts back down my throat with his performances last and this season , good on him keep it comming
This would apply to many people who wont admit it. I never rated him as his assist and goal tally was shite. The last two years he has got the right coaching and now full filling his potential. It was a case of fine tuning him and theres no better manager for it than our own Italian. He is undroppable now.

Even as one of his biggest admirers, I never thought he had Saturday's 2nd in him.

Having watched him fluff dozens of decent chances when well set, the idea he would have that level of composure.
Well I never..

Were you watching waistcoat?

Was he watching Solly, Steele or Dunk?

Your comment is fair.

His scoring record was dismal for a long time. There is not a chance that the 2017 to 2021 Solly March gets in our current side, way too profligate.

Happily he's continued to improve as better players and coaches have come into the club.

To me the lesson is that players develop at different times and for different reasons and that it's quite possible for a player to improve aspects of their game well into their late 20s

Yes - superb I thought. Its incredible how good-a PL winger he's become. Deserves an England call up but we all know it isn't going to come under Southgate sadly
