Welp, suddenly Sinner's performance doesn't look that bad after this first set just kidding of course, he was quite bad on important points regardless of how good Novak was.

If and only if Djokovic wins this final, my personal hopes for the USO are:

1) Sinner (or another Italian) wins it. Highly unlikely.

And if that doesn't happen...

2) Djokovic wins it. I want to see a calendar-year grand slam for the first time in my life, damn it! Unfortunately this is also highly unlikely; there's a reason why so many greats, Djokovic included, failed at it. The USO is at the end of a grueling season and there are many players who can perform well on those hard courts.

If Alcaraz wins Wimbledon instead, only point 1) still stands obviously.
