They'll want publicity, but surely they'll want people supporting their cause, not against it? If they want policy change, they're not going to get it if the majority of people are against them.

This is a nutshell.

The best PR/publicity gets the majority on your side, even if it's not overnight. It works.

Disregarding those who seem to hate living here, the worst place on earth, you'd believe listening to some. We've come a long way from say 50 years ago on so many issues - reducing racism and homophobia, equality between genders, breaking down the closed shops in professions, cutting carbon emissions, recycling, use of alternative energies, lead in petrol, road deaths. Achieved steadily through campaigns that got almost everyone on board and through legislation.

It'll be a shame not to have an open top bus parade when we win the Europa League in case it delays an ambulances
So you’d be fine if a protestor came into your personal space, at your place of work, and threw some powder (likely toxic) “up in the air” and you happen to get covered in it. That would be fine, would it?
Note the rugby player moving his hand to his throat

I’m retired so if they can into my house it would be breaking and entering.

At most of the places I’ve worked in my life, there’s been security on the reception, and codes/smart card entries on the door.

Funnily enough, the most disruptive was a bomb scare, when I worked for an electricity company because of using nuclear energy.
We enjoyed the break in the car park. It was a hoax btw.

Seriously, how do you know the majority of people are against them?

Pre planned the exact route and publicised - not the same as just rocking up and closing some roads. But again, I asked a hypothetical question about whether those backing the illegal protests would be annoyed about a sick loved one getting held up. It was yes or no - not one could answer as they knew it made them look hypocritical. I feel for all the relatives of these extreme never wrong lefty’s as they’ve not been even hypothetically saved.

The ‘go to’ was ‘no ambulances have been blocked’ (which has now been proven as untrue) which makes no odds to a hypothetical question either - AN AMBULANCE COULD WELL BE BLOCKED AND SOME PEOPLE COULD DIE. It’s vile and selfish. They left claim to be all peace and love, yet seem to be far worse than the right for this. And literally are never wrong and can’t accept opinions different to theirs and just think they’re smarter or smug by changing the question. It’s so clear to me and thankfully to the majority of the British Public. That poor women who missed her mothers funeral due to the selfish acts of many who guess the facts and don’t work. So sad that people stick up for them - just turning people against them who do agree with the cause (not the exaggerated cause this lot spout around).

Stopping a snooker match, damaging a garden at a flower show or disrupting a motorway miles outside London has zero effect on politicians. Why not block roads around parliament, then they can piss off the politicians and not the general populace?

Don’t be silly Sheebo. We are mates, or we were but we can agree to disagree, can’t we, without the personal jibes.
We can 👍 but that is not a personal jibe at all!

Their lifeblood is social media. They’ve taken to disabling comments on their YouTube videos as they were universally negative. Check out their Twitter feed, there is one supportive comment for every ten negative ones. This is getting worse with each stunt/assault.

This isn’t selective editing. This is literally the post replies in order.

Sheebo, it isn’t left or right.
It wasn’t women (plural) missing plural mothers funerals, although if you want to go down that route, I missed two family funerals thanks to the fat liar in number 10.
It was one man missing his father’s funeral

As I said before, I’m not a lefty or righty having voted for all 3 major parties in my life.
You just seem to be wanting a go at those who believe protesting is a human right, no matter what the cause, and using personal jibes to do so.

I thought better of you.

I'm in favour of labelling groups who "cause people harm for political goals". Let's start with the Conservative Party

I’ve not met one person in any environment - pub, work, family who haven’t been wholey against their actions. Not one. NSC is the only place I’ve seen it - without doubt the minority. Which is fine, if you can answer straight forward questions… It’s been proven on here and in interviews none of them can…

I have not used personal jibes to anyone… not gonna be gaslighted into thinking I’m horrible for having a debate, thanks.

They need to completely, entirely change direction. Apologise for their actions, declare their financial backing,

You’re the only person I’ve seen use a personal jibe actually, when you just fat shamed Boris Johnson. You’re not having a good morning…

You’re letting your anger get the better of you right now. I am sorry, from your point of view, that most people disagree with you but you’ve been repeatedly proven wrong with facts and evidence in the last few pages and now you’ve started lashing out.

It’s always nice to use facts to disprove preconceived guesses.. oh here’s another one to add to the man in the article…

Shame the way this thread has gone, it was quite interesting for a while. The pile on now seems to have started, classic NSC.

I didn't say they were. People here have pointed out that people don't like their actions and so it's putting people off their cause. The counter argument was that they don't care if it puts you off their cause, they just want publicity. I'm suggesting that if enough people are put off their cause, then their cause will fail.

How so? Because people disagree with the “correct stance”? I’ve replied diligently with each reply. The poster stated no ambulances had been delayed, Sheebo provided lots of evidence they had. The poster claimed nobody had powder thrown at them. I provided picture evidence less than 24 hours old that they had. The poster claimed they had support, I provided photo evidence which directly contradicted this.

I am playing the ball not the man here and every single point I’ve made has been backed up and validated with evidence from multiple unbiased sources, most of all from JSO themselves.

Sometimes it’s not easy to admit you’re wrong and keep moving the goalposts. We’ve had it a few times by immediately going back to the Tories Bad argument (which I agree with), anything but accept clear facts when presented.
