I read the story from a newspaper link before I saw this thread, the first thing that came to mind was someone on here will be making the “she can stalk me” joke.
I would have been very surprised if nobody on here mentioned it.

I might be one of the few women on here and overall find the forum is a pretty positive and not generally a sexist environment.

Stuff like this though, the whole “nothing matters if she has tits” stuff, it’s just depressing. Like there’s no point to any woman if all that’s cared about os the way we look. It’s not that nice to read.

Yeh loads of my female make jokes like that - its a joke at the end of the day and not being too interested I didn’t read the article but yeh it’s still a joke.. The joke wasn’t laughing at someone having been affected by it it was a joke about an attractive women and a not so attractive bloke Oh well, opinions eh…

Turning up at your work, contacting your relatives, changing phone numbers as soon as one is blocked, is stalking.

A poor girl in Portslade was being stalked, and the police ignored it. She ended up dead. Stalking is definitely a crime.

I'm sure you're correct in a legal sense.
I consider this woman just to be a right right pain in the arse and her behaviour could have diminished then stopped after a period of time. Of course it could've escalated. In my eyes she's just a gold-digging trollope. I'm awaiting the first mentions that she's suffering with her mental health, bless her.

The police completely screwed that up leading to a tragic conclusion.
I believe she had been assaulted by her ex previously.
It does reinforce my point though that Gilmour's stalking is only taken seriously and in the news because he's a Premier League footballer.
