I’ve been thinking of a solution so those who object to leavers/drinkers/weak bladder sufferers etc.
Seat Belts !. Yes just fit electronic ones to each seat. Ones that can’t be undone other than by the clubs control room. So everyone has to sit tight until all freed. There, simple

And when you find out we got a late goal on the way to the car, and experience the Great Joy, how can that be worse than staying to he bitter end and see us not score, then spend an hour getting out of the car park, with a full bladder?
I suspect this is an autism spectrum thing. Either you spend hours in a tortured state of bafflement about early leavers....
or you don't. I'm on the spectrum and....I don't.

Yes I’d leave early if it was rubbish. Last time I left a BHA match really early was the 0-5 at Selhurst
Brilliant game full of chances both ends,was more enjoyable to watch than the thrashing we gave Wolves. I watched 88 minutes of game. I am OAP and struggle in crowd to get away after full time whistle. Sometimes I wait till 20 mins after game but not an option for me with 8pm kick off. Yes I would have liked to be there till the end but make no apollogy for leaving when I did. Heard the roar of the crowd as I got to farm shop on way to car.

This debate again and yes it's been done to death. However, the reason it pops up with regularity is when you have a conclusion like last night.
Our scenario in the upper west is that we have a middle aged chap who comes with his son who looks about 9. I've briefly spoken to him before and he's a normal chap. What I can't get my head round is that for every single game irrespective of the kick off time he religiously exits around the 80th minute. His departure is also irrespective of the state of the game and relative importance.
For me it's seems like going to the expense of going to the cinema and then always leaving 10 mins before the film ends. I presume it's a transport issue but for me I'd willing accept a train or car park queue to experience the varying moments of joy.
It doesn't make me a better fan but perhaps someone who wants value for their money.

They wouldn't let me and I've boycotted Selhurst ever since, due to the nonsense of eventually getting out the ground and home after the match finished

8 o'clock starts are awkward. I live in Portsmouth so it's imperative I get the last train back.

Various reasons why this might be the case. One of them could be stressed in crowds and want to avoid getting trapped in the big queue for the train for example.

Guy, two rows down, kept standing up blocking our view. I'll accept occasionally but he did it every time the ball crossed the half way line. Left on 90 mins. We so laughed about it later.

But he's already sitting in a crowd and this little area of WSU is quite noisy. And he himself joins to the extent you'd expect from a child his age. He also takes up his seat with the last minute entries.
There’s different sort of crowds and being spaced out in a stadium is different to being in the crush of the train queue. I’m just trying to point out there are reasons people leave early and everyone is different. Maybe ask them why they leave early rather than talking about them on an internet forum?

Why doesn’t anyone start the moralistic must leave on 40mins to get a pint and not arrive back until the 50th minute thread…….
Strange that.
Tunnel vision for anyone going early who misses the occasional goal, but not a peep about missing goals whilst stuck boozing in the concourse
