Realised about half hour before the game I hadn’t bought a programme as a souvenir, so went back inside from seat and asked a steward where I could purchase one.

“What’s a programme?” came his response.

Now, I know I don’t need to explain what a programme is to anyone here, but when suddenly confronted with the prospect of having to explain what a programme is to someone when you wouldn’t expect to at a location where you wouldn’t expect to it’s incredibly challenging!

Deep inside enemy territory, as you can see, our support looked and sounded magnificent at times. Especially during penalties. All the Mancs complementary of us. I’m as disappointed as anyone but it’s been a great day out, and we should be proud of ourselves and our club.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty good, not amazing but lots of singing where I was in Block 134.

But what was not at all alright were the main bars with long, long queues. We waited more than half an hour for a beer. The staff, (nowhere near enough of them), looked completely overwhelmed and didn’t even seem to know how to pour a pint. No sign of a manger or anyone taking control. It was a total shambles. And this is the national stadium. Very poor indeed.

Maybe don't get a ticket in the SAFE STANDING section then, the guy next to me kept sitting down, he was only about 45
Yes, I didn't mean the standing section. If you've got a ticket there then I'd hope you were intending to remain upright.

As for elsewhere though, age and disability don't necessarily go together.

The ‘glory glory Man Utd’ over the tannoy as soon as the last pen went in was an absolute piss take and just made me want to get out of the ground as quickly as possible. I couldn’t hang around to listen to that shit
It would have been GOSBTS had we won, it’s normal now to belt out the winning clubs anthem. Don’t get be wrong, I loath this sort of modern shite and would rather they let the fans celebrate / natural noise. But the cocks who run the game decide otherwise now. Annoying ain’t it?

Just got home and I enjoyed the atmosphere up the top where we were sat, the view was amazing and had the result gone our way I might be able to gloss over the terrible transport, laughable toilet facilities, CANS of Budweiser and the prices. I’m almost glad we didn’t win as the thought of going through that again was playing on my mind at the end 😂

Imagine that chaos but 10x worse for the euros. Mixed in with a load of nutters just let off the leash post covid smuggling bottles of vodka into the stadium and openly snorting coke.

Today seemed very unchaotic compared to that !!! But I still hate wembley

Better than 2019 for noise but the new Wembley is still a pretty sterile experience. Spurs ground beats it hands down as it's designed for football fans, not corporate pantomimes. Going to the old Wembley was like a pilgrimage to footballing Mecca, now it's like going to visit a shitty theme park . It's like they really do not like having football fans there. Constant pubic address systems announcements as you go along Wembley Way informing you how they can arrest you for having a beer FFS, along with lots of plastic security and deputy plod standing in stupid places blocking smooth crowd movement all wearing their best 'Terminator' face but nobody with a uniform or hi-viz seemed to know anything helpful - any actual cops looked like they wanted a fight more than any of the fans. TFL organisation at London Bridge on the way up was insane, don't know if they sorted it later, but when we got there they were kettling fans and shouting through megaphones while the Tanoy system was announcing train times 🤪 We had to leave when they started cutting off fans with a sliding metal gate. We walked round the station to another entrance and found our way to the tube.

I thought we did ourselves proud on-field and in the stands tho. Great hearing "Albion" fill the stadium and drowning out the mancs. UTA.
