RDZ knew what he was doing when he ruled Ferguson and Veltman out for the semi immediately after Chelsea. Doubt we'll get any proper updates on either of them until the presser... Really, really hope they're both alright to play.

Think we'd miss Veltman just as much as Ferguson - Gross would pretty much have to play the whole match at right back (unless Webster could slot in there?) which leaves us with Welbeck, Enciso & Undav as our only tried and tested options up front and in behind the striker (assuming Alexis plays alongside Moises in the double pivot). Also worry about Welbeck and Enciso's ability to play the full 90, or 120...

Any chance Lallana makes the bench?

There’s no way Veltman makes the bench I’m sorry to say. Even small hamstring injuries do not repair in a week. Would so Ferguson is almost as unlikely but harder to tell with ligament injuries.

I don't think there is a suggestion he is near.

Also this match could go to 120 mins and we have another match midweek. Undav and Buonanotte, likely to get some playing time in the upcoming games. Possibly also Ayari or Gilmour

Only mentioned Lallana as he was in last week's training video, we'd be silly to rush him back with the amount of PL games left.

RDZ seems to rate Ayari over Gilmour so I reckon we'll see at least a bit of him against United and Forest.

Reportedly left Stamford Bridge in a protective boot but not on crutches. I guess for those looking for positive news, it means that he could put his weight on the ankle so maybe not as serious but still something that could keep him out of Sunday.
We must have had our own boot as Chelsea have been handing them like sweets currently

Is this his second or third injury of this season so far?. I hope he is not injury prone.

Nah, I don't think his injuries have been the type that indicate he is injury prone as such. The one on Saturday was bad luck as he landed badly, partly due to the Chelsea defender.

And i'd say Fabinho's challenge on him was likely to have injured a good number of players.

I don't remember which ankle it was, but my first thought when Evan went off was "did the previous incident in the Liverpool game contribute to him having come off? Has he not managed to get it quite right ever since".

But whatever, we obviously need to manage his minutes as he builds up his strength at such a young age. A third striker who RDZ is confident to use in the PL is a must. Undav will get game time to audition for that rile next season.

His ankles will always be a concern as he such a big unit. I'm sure we will be doing a lot of work on his leg muscles to build those up and try and reduce the potential for serious injuries there.

Anything that’s been said so far by RDZ or journalists is just a guess as to if either Ferguson or Veltman will play in the semi. Only by today may they have a better idea, & know an accurate prognosis. You’ve got to leave these injuries a day or 2 to know if they’re actually bad or something that will quickly heal.
Indeed around 1.40 RDZ says exactly that …waiting until Monday/Tuesday before knowing for sure no

Around 1.08 ish got his “balls” remark in 😂

If anyone could explain to me how that was NOT a penalty from the challenge that finished his afternoon, I'd be mightily interested. The fact he made the header which was saved by Kepa is neither here nor there - the defender went to ground and slid in from behind, was not even in the same postcode as the ball, wiped out Evan and hobbled him in the process. Yet nothing was even mentioned.

As per the handball from Pulisic when he patted it away from Estupinan, when it comes to decisions for BHA in the box, it all seems to kind of just "disappear" doesn't it ?

Noticed Offiah was on the bench Saturday. Don’t know enough about him to know would he be ready at RB if called upon in a FA cup semi?

The handball Perv was going on about was more of a pen

I think they both were legitimate penalty shouts.

Don't look at Evans header, or the save - look at the tackle coming in from behind him. Are you telling me he was close to getting the ball ? Because if you go to ground in the penalty box and take the man without the ball, then what should happen ?

It's not too late for it to be given.......if it were Man Utd!
