From what I remember the reason the Edouard deal didn’t happen for us was because of his ridiculous wage demands. Wanted something like £80k+ a week.

The reason the "Edouard deal" didn't happen is because there never was any such deal. We were never in for him. It was a complete fabrication by certain newspapers.

The funniest thing about Sørloth was how crap he looked at Palace, then they loaned him with an option to buy on the cheap to a Turkish team, where he promptly started smashing it and they sold him on for a massive profit
