What do we think?

Any other team in their position, with their run of form, I would be fairly confident of a win.

But we know how this plays out, don't win.

80% possession
20 shots
10 on target
xG of 3.66

Palace 0 shots on target, own goal away win.

I pray it isn't going to happen again, but I reckon my heart will be broken again.

UTA.

It’s horrific but the gods of football will dictate that Palace will score with all their shots on target and touches in our penalty area on Wednesday. That will give them a total of one or two goals. Sadly, that should be enough to get at least a draw.

You can guarantee the following things won’t happen:
We will convert all our easy chances.
We will score a deflected goal.
The referee will give us a boarder line penalty.
Palace will have a player(s) sent off.
We will score from a set-piece.

Betting folk ITK will be heavily backing:
- Brighton having a goal ruled out by VAR
- Brighton going down to 10 men.
- A 0-0, 1-1 or 2-2 result.
- Palace being awarded a penalty.
- Zaha scoring the penalty.
- Lewis Dunk being sent off.
- Brighton having 70%+ possession.
- Brighton having 20+ shots.
- Odsonne Edouard &/or Zaha scoring.

I can't believe how may tickets are still available for this game. I know it is a Wednesday night and the fixture has been rearranged, but still thought it would sell out.

I used to think the luck would even itself out in this one but the game at Selhurst made me realise that we’ll ever get anything go in our favour against them.

As evidenced above, they don’t need one to score against us. It’s more likely we’ll put into our own net. The luck they have had in the last half dozen meeting is mind blowing. They’ve probably survived 100+ shots whilst only getting a dozen themselves (and scoring most of them).

And I am delighted it is so. Had to let my season ticket go and not even a member currently. So to still get a good seat for only £35, I am buzzing. Never missed a Palace home game in my lifetime (last away was the 1-0 away win tbf though). Cannot wait, first and probably only game of the season for me. Had to decide this or Grimsby and was a no brainer.

I think we need to hit them hard in the first minute, oh did you mean the football match, well yeah same! Then carry on no reason we cant fill our boots and create a new PL record win. Sorted. Next question....

Ticket exchange you muppet! 😬Probably a few more on there than usual what with late arrangement and then another change of date when train strike announced
