Yep.

The worst thing about football is the feigning/cheating/whinging/diving.... Fulham had this all over. Horrible team. Embarrassing for them as a club, and for all of us as fans of the sport.
Agree.

Though I am starting to think - it's clearly not something that's going to be tempered so f**k, we should do it too

It's all very well and good doing things the right way but at a certain point you have to accept the right way isn't always going to do the job.

Of course knowing our luck with refs we wouldn't get half the decisions anyway.

Just five minutes for the ref thread.

Anybody notice the occasions our players went down ?

Thought we good penalty shout but clearly VAR thought otherwise.

Ref was fine. He's not allowed to give us decisions because we want them.

The Veltman one?

No penalty for me - clearly looking for the leg to go over.

The concussion rule is hardly the ref’s fault. This just shows what scumbags a lot of footballers are. The rule was brought in to protect their welfare. What’s their reaction ? Use it to win football matches. This rule needs changing.
I've thought for a while that if you go down with a head injury then you get subbed off. No discussion - your manager is forced to use one of his substitutions. Player safety and all that.

It'd stop this shit pretty quick.

I haven’t seen the penalty shout yet although Warren, like others on here, thought Veltman initiated the contact. Agree with you totally about the anti ref comments though. Here we go again.

The rule is you stop the game for a head or blood injury, not just because a player was thumping the ground pretending his foot is dropping off.

Sorry, I'm not having that. I can cope with refs making mistakes. I cannot and will not accept their inability to stop their watch properly and cut out time wasting quickly. As I say every week, it's the easiest part of their job. The ref didn't cost us the game but he didn't do his job properly. AGAIN!!

Veltman initiated that - he basically dragged his leg into the defenders and went down.
Yeah, from my angle it looked cast iron, but I guessed that VAR would have had the proper take on it.

Assuming they checked the correct tackle 😂

It was my first visit to the AMEX in four years today so I was just pleased to be there- apart from the seat neighbour who insisted on ******* this and **** that every time a decision went against us.

I even saw Ronald the Great !

That was THE worst ref I've seen at the Amex.

And I don't normally pile in, in these threads.

For so many reasons, let's open with not nipping in the bud time-wasting by every Fulham player from the off, allowing Leno to cheat every time he had the ball in his hands.

He was a cocky little shit wasn't he?
