Amusing for you maybe.

Sorry but a Palace scarf wearing man shouldn't be welcomed in any Albion end.

From reading this forum there is a clear issue over loyalty points… but why? if a Palace fan can rack up enough in 12 months to get a ticket for Palace away surely anyone can do that?

Make it make sense.

For me - Roland Rat will never be welcome in Hangleton (where I live) because he’s a Palace ****. That’s unforgivable for me.
Clearly got a bee in your bonnet about something something loyalty points. Not sure 'Up The Spurs' in your avatar thing adds much to your clear sense of angst and entitlement tho eh?

And in the global scheme of things I'd argue that the global vloggers are, er, arguably doing more to spread the Albion word globally than the club's commercial dept who can't even manage to have stocks of kit available in the club's 'Superstore', let alone anywhere else

I have absolutely no idea what this means. Probably being “whooshed”.

Bottom line is there was Palace within your ranks in the away end yesterday.

As you can tell from my posts I’m passionate about BHA. That should not be allowed.

I’ve got mates who couldn’t get a ticket for yesterday who are proper Brighton and wouldn’t be seen dead in a Palace scarf

Roland Rat OUT.
According to your logic, former palace fan Normal Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the Albion let alone buy the club Robert Lester Zamora.

I’ve got Up The Spurs in my avatar thing (no idea what that means) because I’m Tottenham. I’ve seen you stumble up Preston Drove too many times to take the piss out of you.

To be clear … are you saying Roland Rat deserves a ticket for yesterday at Selhurst over a life long Brighton fan?

And if so, how did he get passed the name on the ticket check?

Bee in my bonnet? Absolutely! We’ve had South Koreans in our away ends ever since the Son signing. It’s not right. When I’m in an away end at Spurs I wanna be next to proper Tottenham, not South Korean Son fans. Is that really wrong?

Agree with you completely. But 'proper Tottenham' fans, same as proper Albion fans will always have a head start over fans from South Korea or anywhere else. Even with nasty monetised ticket sharing schemes, there's always been a way to make sure your ticket goes to a proper fan before it goes on the open market

I’m glad you agree - I can’t believe I’ve got such a big opposition after having a pop at some Palace rat who had an away end ticket yesterday. f*** him - he quite literally should not be welcome anywhere near BHAFC. He was wearing a Palace scarf a year ago.

Also please leave the italics to H, he does it best

Roland Rat OUT.

He wore a Brentford top when he was in the home end there. He wore a Hearts scarf when he was in the home end there. He’s worn a West Ham jacket there (against Spurs funnily enough)…….and so on and so on. He’s also partial to a half and half scarf.

He’s a football tourist - travels very widely and vlogs all the time. Definitely Ecuador first and foremost but has likely become increasingly BHA due to the number of them in our squad, leading to him getting a ST and attending far more games (and getting points at a rapid rate)

He’s also called Ronald, not Roland.

I wasn't sure if Ronald would be able to go Palace yesterday but was rather hoping he would. We all need our Ron fix each match.

No shit, Sherlock.

Anyone who wears a Palace scarf for me is a rat. So Roland does it better.

Stop defending Palace. Football without rivalries is nothing.

I’d expect better from a fellow Darren..

Jesus, he went to one game when he was doing the rounds of PL games and grounds. Now he seems to be hooked on the Albion. Not a fan of vloggers particularly but he seems like a lovely guy too. Get off your high horse (and very rich for someone who was in the Spurs end at Leicester yesterday ffs)

Cannot believe I’m getting agg for outing a Palace Roland Rat on a Brighton forum.

There can’t possibly a loyalty points debate on this forum ever again if everyone is happy that someone supporting Brighton for 12 months is nabbing Palace away tickets.

If you asked every proper (yes I know I use that word a lot) Brighton fan if they would pose on YouTube in a Palace scarf I’d expect 99.5+% of them to say no.

A Tottenham fan in the away end at Leicester yesterday?

Please explain what you mean.

@Paxton Dazo I think you're barking up the wrong tree here. He an Ecuadorian living in London, he only came to our games because we signed Caicedo and later Estepunian. He's essentially a neutral fan/football vlogger who now has a reason to follow us.

He gets tickets because he gets off his arse and goes to games, it's as simple as that. Anyone can do it if they're willing to make the effort.
He gets in the thick of it at games and people obviously like him judging by the reception he gets out and about.

If he was raised in selhurst and grew up as palace then you might have a point, but he wasn't.

Also the vlogs are a great watch.

Respect the level headed response but again..

Does that mean he deserves a ticket over a life long Brighton fan?

Yep, exactly that. A lot of his earlier vlogs are at Brentford games - he’s in Brentford colours……..with ‘Valencia‘ on his shirt.

Yes (in my opinion)

You can't live in the past. I qualify as a lifelong fan, had ST at Gillingham, done about 50 grounds, not exactly superfan status but pretty good. My personal situation means I haven't been away for a year, so I'd never expect to get a ticket ahead of someone who goes every week NOW. And rightly so.

Loyalty points don’t work like that rightly or wrongly. I’m nothing like a lifelong fan - complete JCL - but get tickets to any game.
Oh come on Daz.
I was at Plymouth for the 1-0 Zamora goal that clinched promotion, and at Carlisle a week later for the 0-0 that clinched the title. I know the score. This fanbase cannot be letting Palace scarfers in there away ends .. you know that deep down but you’ll disagree with me, because like Swansman, that’s the fashionable thing to do.

I’m on your side here.

I’ve been to the Amex 3/4 times as an away fan and the home atmosphere is like a morgue. No disrespect but it is.

But the pushback I’m getting from allowing Roland Rat into the away end I finally understand why.

The points system has been designed by Tony Bloom to reward a mixture of past and current loyalty and it works very well. All tickets were checked for names v ID yesterday. If there was an issue with his ticket then whoever got him in will get a ban and it won’t be hard to work out the seating area from the video.

He’s a video maker first of course but unlike the Swede he’s going to games, raising our profile and joining in rather than sniping
