My positive from today is that you did not give us the hiding we deserved. That was a very poor show for this rivalry a very poor show indeed, a lot of us not happy, I don’t mind losing when trying but just to stroll around like we did is just not good enough, and I don’t hold with the excuses of missing 3 of our first team….just a shocking no heart performance.

There isn’t, Mac Allister didn’t take his chances but he hit the target on two chances, Sanchez f***ed up the only routine save he had to make. Sanchez cost us a win. Trying to spread the blame is daft
whatever.

You are right, kudos to you for coming here and saying that. Like a mate of mine, a decent palace fan.

Every single one of those Palace fans wishes they were in our position. The only ones who claim they don’t are lying.

Are you 12? Curious because that’s the sort of response I got from my kids when I disagreed with them at that age

Does feel good to know Palace fans probably know more about our team than their own after that game.

Reasons to be cheerful:

1. Even the most blinkered Palace fan will know that they got bloody lucky AGAIN today
2. We played really well
3. My first visit to the Stadium of Rust in a few years and I was shocked at what a dump it is. That new main stand looks exactly like the old wooden one
4. The Holmesdale Fanatics are totally overrated and I reckon from what I saw of them today that most of them still live at home with their mums
5. As clubs we are going in two totally different directions

One positive that I can think of is: here we all are, moaning about getting an away point in the Premier League! Yes it should have been 3 but look at how far we have come.

Fair few Palace on the BBC site with their hands up admitting how crap they are, another positive!

The positive is those Palace fans know it. They know they are miles behind us. They can't keep fluking their way to points against us. We should be supremely confident in the home game.
