If you pay by Direct Debit, you don't need to do anything.

Beyond that, I understood the renewal launch to be Monday, so it may be the case everything is not live until then. Sounds like Royal Mail have got stuff to some people early for a change.
Ah thanks it just gives a renewal by date not a from date. Shame it doesn't have the start date on, thought I was going crazy here going around in circles.

No.

And one reason for that is, depending on the competition, not all STHs and 1901ers will be able to sit in their own seats due to UEFA policies on tickets for fixtures in their competitions.
Third World problems 🤣 eh
How very blooming nice we are in such a position
To contemplate such issues 😉
Still pinching myself at the possibility of it all

Whole of the 1901 will be needed for UEFA leeches, hangers-on and the like won’t it ? Plus 10,000 seats for their partners, kids, cousins, butlers, drivers and window cleaners ?

The sharing scheme will be the same next season as this.

There will be another "name change amnesty" in this renewal window, allowing the name on a ST to be changed.
Do you know if that includes going from adult to U10 STH? My son now comes instead of my wife so be nice to get the cheaper ticket!

It’s a good question….how many tickets do they take up for their delegation and sponsors etc?

It varies by competition and, very possibly, stage of the competition.

But it's certainly the case that there would be some instances where both STHs and 1901ers are unable to use "their seat" for a game.

Maybe we shouldn't be worrying too much about this just yet!

Are they going ahead with charging non phone users £20 for having a plastic card.

Checking back in my notes, I did write down that this is the first season where there will be a £20 charge for a physical ticket, although I also jotted down this will be waived for disabled supporters.

My eldest daughter is going to be away at university for the next 3 years, do you know if it’s possible to put her season ticket on hold, such that when she returns in 3 years she’ll be able to have a season ticket again? Or will we have to choose not to renew her season ticket and join the waiting list for a new season ticket for when she finishes university?

If you're desperate to keep her seat next to you you could always buy the ST and stick it on the exchange each week

I'd ask the Club, but think it unlikely they'd simply put it on ice for three years. Good luck!

with the caveat that if it's not used by the season ticket holder 4 or 5b times in the season you may get the letter advising that they are considering not allowing renewal

Very, very unlikely I'm afraid.

I think the best option, as above, is retain it and use a combination of sharing it with other friends and family etc, and listing it on the exchange when it's going to otherwise go unused.

I'm currently going through this with one of my tickets. Its just about working ok. (I've kept it) He saw a fair number of games in Aug/Sept and Dec/Jan cos of holidays and a couple of others due to "reading week". He's coming back for Fulham for example.

The rest of the time i've shared with his Brothers and my Dad who used to have season tickets but still follow the Albion closely (or want to see Spurs or Arsenal or Liverpool !) . So if you've a group of you then its vfm. And of course you can always put the ticket on the Exchange. I think the only time it was empty was for Forest . Nobody really missed out there !
I've no idea also whether in 2 years, he will definitely come back to live in/around Brighton anyway.

One of my sons now lives in Manchester for example - so we go to the odd away game (Leeds, Man City etc).

Its hard also to predict where things might be with availability of STs in three years time- this year they went to General Sale (partly because the ground capacity increased) but that might change. The club are insisting that they are currently "sold out" and they expect a high renewal rate.
