So, not available until March then - and that's supposed to be good news?
Well we only have 3 games in February and a complete gap between February 18th and March 1st ( warm weather training camp ? ) so they won't rush him back before then.

If you read the article, it seems there was a fear he might have done his cruciate or medial ligament. So yes, good news

Three games out then. Could be worse of course, but it still ain't good news, is it?

You see your star striker assaulted in a potentially career ending tackle, limping home on crutches and you fear the worst. Maybe a season out. Maybe he never recovers his form. And then someone pops up to say only 3 games out. Do I file this under good news or bad news?

The article was written from the perspective of the Irish National team.
The impact to the players participation in Albion games is likely to become clearer to us when RDZ holds his press conference on Friday before the game this weekend.

I suspect we need to wait until later in the week. I remember Potter used to give updates saying Lallana or Welbeck or Webster were not quite ready for the next games, which we knew meant we wouldn't see them in a Brighton shirt for 6 games.
On the other hand, we might see him on Saturday

I think I've already answered that. Next question?

With Evan looking certain to miss a few weeks, and with Trossard gone, let's hope that Welbeck can retain fitness and Undav can provide some spark when called upon

If we haven't risked playing him before the International break then we really shouldn't let Ireland risk him either. We lost somebody this way....was it Izquierdo...?

Exactly why we should have looked at some reinforcements. Why take this risk when European football is a real possibility?

We obviously did look at reinforcements, and the recruitment team offered what they thought they should for their targets. They have limits, and although as fans we always want a bit more, it's difficult to argue with the success they're having right now.
