Naylor is still smashing out very good tweets. He has been handed a huge tit-bit for his support.

TB beginning to show his hand on this.

Very embarrassing for Arsenal to chase a player so hard when they are so successful, but still potentially fail!

When bringing a Tweet from Naylor, Jacobs, et al to NSC, could posters please post a link so rhat we can, if we wish, have a laugh at some of the the replies rather than just a screen shot (or whatever it is) of the Tweet viewed as a non-interactive attachment? Many thanks.

Naylor has triggered so many Arsenal fans

He’s getting thousands of comments from Arsenal fans, it’s mad what success does, the Arsenal fan base are coming across as entitled knobs, even Newcastle fans have started becoming more toxic on social media, Arsenal are top halfway through the season and think they are prime 1970 Brazil, they could quite easily win nothing this season.

Even our own fans have becoming increasingly annoying the better we do… see the berating of March and Van Hecke recently.
Unfortunately, entitlement comes with success. For me, too many years of dross at the Goldstone to ever feel like that....

This has reminded me of Leeds trying to buy Ben White:

Sell him to us for £18.5m - He's not for sale.
We'll give you £20m - He's not for sale.
He wants to come to us. Its his dream. - He's not for sale.
Okay, you win £25m - He's not for sale.

After one season with us, he was sold for double their highest bid.

I'm trying to figure out who it'll be most satisfyingly beating in the second half of this season: Palace, Chelsea or Arsenal.

Almost reads like a threat to the agents that if they continue to twat about, we could make it even harder for Caicedo to leave. So stop playing silly buggers, keep it amicable and find a summer solution that works for him and, reluctantly, us.

I certainly didn’t know the thing about us potentially having another year on Caicedo’s contract, it’s extra reason as to why Tony is confident of still getting big bids in the summer.

I love the 1 year team options and the way they just seem to be thrown in at the end. From a players side if you’re going to sign until 2027+team option then it’s better to sign to 2028 without it.

Naylor is certainly doing a good job of reeling them in :fishing:
he's rather enjoying himself. The club are obviously keeping him very much in the know over this. It will take something to blow it out of the water for Tony to say yes.

Most of those commenting are sitting in their armchairs abroad.

Just been listening to TS whilst in the gym. Jim White was absolutely categoric that ‘we have been told he is not leaving in this window’. Too many journos close to the club saying the same thing now for there not to be some clear briefing going on from (probably) PBOBE.

Listened to TS (yea I know) and Jim White obviously got a call from someone high up in the club this morning and very emphatically stated to him that Caicedo is not going anywhere this window no matter what.

As above I heard the same thing. wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s PB himself - he’s on the show quite often. The statements are bordering on too strong to overturn now whatever happens in terms of bids.
