I had hoped Arsenal would win the league this season - I even thought the Trossard sale was fair enough and hoped he'd help take them over the line. But a quick glance at Twitter makes you realise what a bunch of entitled gimps Arsenal fans are. I hope Man City pip them on the last day and they win absolutely f*** all as usual.

Get the feeling the poor lad is totally adrift and just goes along with whatever the last person who spoke to him says. Seriously needs a senior mentor to guide him through this. Bruno would be ideal. Oh.
This is what we mustn't forget, (and no doubt I will offend someone on here :)) this is a lad, the youngest of 12 from, with the greatest respect, not the best part of Ecuador, its come a long way from Sir Norman Gall moving down from Wallsend or Wardy coming down from Derby as teenagers. (Both were actually advised by their respective Dads' as was Bob Booker when he left Brentford for Sheff Utd)

The agents, with the amount of commission on the agenda, are driving this, from the instagram post onwards, but is there someone somewhere actually looking out for Moises's best interests?

In the absence of Bruno, Calde would make an ideal mentor IMHO, even if it's only via phone/zoom

You’d hope his family, but that then depends on their motivations.

Look at the difference between Mac Allister who is from a wealthy footballing family, he seems much more relaxed, happy and respectful of what Brighton have done for him so far.

Bit annoyed I looked. The entitlement 🤣 but a lot are literally arsenal ‘fans’ born in Egypt etc - why oh why does Twitter exist to allow opinions from people who have no clue…!

They literally don’t get anything about football or their clubs actions. Same with all the big 6. All of them. Arrogant plastics.
No room for mistakes at Arsenal:

As an Albion fan you don't believe what you have written do you? Stop trying to be controversial, this is not the subject to be doing that on imo.

Or maybe you don't have the desire for the Albion to get to Europe, although I find that hard to believe

Where is this replacement coming from, who is it and do you really think we can get this in place by Tuesday evening?

It won't happen......but what I'd really love to come out of this is for players to, in future, to actually have a think about what THEY want to do and not what their agency recommend them to do in terms of how they conduct themselves during potential transfer interest.

It's all very well putting a pre-written social media statement out but FOR ONCE it appears a club has said "Lovely statement. It's still a no.".

If I was Moises I'd be:
1 - Embarrassed I've put out an agency-written statement in MY NAME and now have to stay
2 - Thoroughly annoyed at my new agents for advising me to do it
3 - And be really annoyed that the riches that were probably promised to me by those agents now haven't materialised. The statement itself was basically saying "I'm from a poor family and the money coming my way would be life changing". You wouldn't release that statement unless you were told "This'll help make it happen".

It would be great, in future, for a player to say "You know what Mr Agent, I'm happy with you working to get the move across the line, I'll even politely tell the club that I would be keen for the move to happen if it can, but don't drag me into playing silly buggers with the club and refusing to play/release silly statements"
A statement that misspelt his home town. It is Santo Domingo, not Santa Domingo. Enough to fire the agents for?

The statement says he's the youngest of 10 siblings. Did his mum push out twins over the weekend?

Blimey. Some of the comments under that tweet beggar belief.
They're painful to read.

I guess it's testament to the success of the human race that we are in a position that people as stupendously stupid as those commenters are are able to live and thrive. No other species in the history of the earth would be able to get away with that many of its members being so deficient in the functions that characterise it.
