Without sounding telepathic....... I can Caicedo initially being fine to stay until the summer but his agent is probably telling him, you've got a huge family and you're earning less than 4k p/w at Brighton, you could get injured next week and ruin the chance to earn 60k p/w etc, etc, etc and planted the seeds.

It would be a nightmare losing him in this window.

i Think a lot of players have someone to manage their social media. some will probably just like content from colleagues without reading it properly
The post looked initially like a BHA post due to the club emblem. I think those that liked it can be forgiven for that, especially those where English isn’t their first language

So let's get this clear. He is in a contract. He has NOT submitted a transfer request. He is refusing to train.

How much, if any, of that is verified?

And by the way - if we do buckle , then it sets a poor example to the squad that basically - don’t turn up to training and you’ll get a move.

I imagine Uncle Tony will let it go down to the wire to maximise Arsenal's payment or get a Chelsea coubterbid. I can't see him staying now.
Ten siblings made up for life...more important than loyalty to any club.

Alex Crooke says this on twitter...

''The narrative that #BHAFC have over-valued Caicedo is laughable and quite sinister. They're the ones who took a punt on him and it's up to them how much they sell for. That's the way the transfer world works. If nobody wants to pay it he will not be allowed to force his way out.''

Well done that man for fighting our corner.

When I first read it this morning I thought “agent trying to force a move” but reading it back now it reads more like a genuine message of thanks and goodbye like a deal has been done rather than someone begging to be let go.
No.

The ‘succession planning’ is working fine - as long as we keep players at essential moments. This is a pivotal one. Keep him till June and we send a message we are serious contenders. Sell him now, with a chance of Top Six, and we send a message that we are a feeder club.
