* At a time of their choosing (unless the player has limited time left on their contract).
Not quite true. Pretty sure a time of their choosing wouldn't have been Cucu in the Summer, Tross or Moises in Jan. Once the ball is in motion they've been fairly amicable..in fact the last players where we really seemed to dig our heels in were Dunk and Stephens. The only comparable others are not accepting a bid for Biss from Villa. We were never going to accept 40 million for Cucu but it was clear he'd leave that window.

My feeling, and it's been touched on by some, is that this isn't a 'let me go' post, it's a 'i'm gone' post. Feels like the deal is done from the wording.
Of course it is. Anyone thinking otherwise is deluding themselves.

I despise the January transfer window. I despise the 'big six'.

We had a genuine chance this season of achieving something.

Caiceido will decide what tomorrow? It is not up to him.
We made a rod for our backs with allowing Tross shenanigans to result in him getting his sale now, and with Anthony Gordon seemingly successfully pulling off the same stunt of missing training to force a move, Caicedos new agents have no doubt taken note and are advising him to do the same.

I don't think anyone would deprive him of moving on and up, but rn with a couple of days in the window left, to put this out and even threaten to boycott training shows a real lack of respect to our club who have nurtured him and given him the opportunity. This would leave us in the lurch.

I doubt it's him, but more his agents greed thats advising nuclear options.

I really hope for precedents sake, Bloom doesn't allow it now. Make it clear he can go in summer and draw a line before this becomes an established norm.

All this talk of we sell for the right price is fine for the balance sheet but what about the fans. We aren’t going bankrupt whether we sell him now or in the summer but what we might lose out on is a shot at European football for the first time in our history. To us that’s priceless.

Sure Tony wants to recoup some money, fair play, and we want to be sustainable but he and Paul Barber also need to read the room, there’s passions and dreams in football fans they go way beyond balancing the books, feels to me like we are, for the first time losing sight of that.

Also explains why Chelsea have seemingly lost interest. Why would a club with endless money give up on a player at 55 million when another has just offered 5 more? Because the agent has told them it's a done deal. Don't waste your time Chelsea. I reckon it'll be announced tomorrow..

This. Let a few players sulk on the sidelines for a few months so the other players and their agents get the message that Bloom's not a soft touch

If it is done why the threat of not going to training?
