[Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

Phew, with Palace scrambling a last minute draw against Utd it gives me some hope for our match against them. My fear was we'd go into it in perfect form and they'd go into it in their recent poor form, and we all know the outcome then!
We know what their tactic will be. Close the shop for 80mins then throw everything at us for the last 10mins.

They will refuse all offers to high press us unlike Liverpool who played in the exact way De Zerbi wanted and predicted. This could cause an issue because there is going to be absolutely no room for our attacking players until the end of the match. This could be a lot closer than people think and could replicate the game at the Amex where they only touched the ball twice in our penalty area.

Having watched much of yesterday's match, I'd suggest they will be looking to get free kicks near our area. Before last night 32% of their goals came from set pieces.

As that free kick went in last night, I had a similar thought. Last minute equaliser. Let’s hope that’s their last, injury time goal for a while.... in fact any goal for that matter.

Imagine paying for a season ticket and then standing with your back to the pitch for the duration of the match?
It’s like “fans” of every team who deliberately sit near the opposition fans and spend the whole game shouting and swearing at each other, barely watching the match, while a bemused row of stewards stare into the middle distance.

And instead of celebrating a goal they prefer to turn to the opposition fans and taunt them. I'm afraid that we have plenty of these cringeworthy people in our away
' support '.

I was home in September and scored some last minute tickets to the Leicester game in the East stand right next to the away fans, and there was about 20 of their fans who's entire day out was swearing at Brighton fans, trying to offer everyone out for a fight.

Hilariously embarrasing.

Clowns. I just pretend they aren’t there when I get stuck near them. It’s so embarrassing when they’re Albion “fans” though. Grow up.

Interesting thread (for a change) on the BBS- https://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=287964

Still a decent amount of completely tribal bellendery on display. I love how some of them keep spitting out the “sugar daddy” line for Uncle Tony like it’s some sort of bad thing? I’m fairly sure there’s quite a few football supporters who, given the choice, would like their club to be bankrolled by a supporter rather than a sovereign wealth fund. Maybe I have that wrong and it’s just me.

I only saw page 1 as after that I had exceeded the limit-however there seems to be a (very) grudging respect building for what Brighton are achieving, our recruitment system, and de zerbi. They hate it, but it seems to be regestering that they have wasted there 5 year head start in the Prem and we are now ahead in terms of position and set up.
It must be gaulling for them.

There was some comment about what happened to Southampton, and I think its a valid point, about effectivly taking the money and running, hopefully (and it looks like we are), the club is using the money wisely to keep the "conveyor belt" of talent running
