I thought this was well known anyway ?

Although I would say not a real follower, neither Don Rogers or big mail were at palace in the time stated.

“My earliest memories of football are being taken, I suppose 1969 or 1970, to watch Crystal Palace play.

“Malcolm Allison, with the big fedoras, who’d come from Man City, was the manager. Don Rogers, the star player for Swindon, had come to Palace as centre forward, and my grandfather and grandmother used to go and watch Palace.”

Not wishing to defend old Nige in any way but he's talking about memories from when he was about 5 or 6 years old, its quite easy to mis-remember things from that long ago when you were so young. My memories of Peter Wards goal against Utd in 1982 (my first ever match) were a lot different to the reality of what the goal was when I eventually watched it back on You Tube many years later.

His older than me, and I can remember by mal coming to palace in 73, and the fedora was just for the cup run in 76….perhaps it’s because I am a left wing football nerd and not racist and right wing cxxt ?

So bitter and Jealous because we are f*cking good and they are sh*t.

Hi Dougie (thereichstuff) See you still have you homophobic signature over there?? :bigwave::bigwave:

That will be because he is still a homophobic ****.

Also from his user name he appears to have extreme right wing tendencies. Why else would you have "reich" in your username? I would ask ppf (previously know as "das reich") but he appears to be banned again.

For context this was done with AI and there were messing about.

Their biggest fear, that we will over take them in every department, is coming to fruition.

I think the penny has dropped finally. Post#906 onwards.

I would tell them to their face that attempt at a design is clucking mental
I think the person responsible was winging it. Apparently they were brought in from Turkey.

Either way they should be roasted
One things for sure – no Brighton manager is going to be left down to the bare bones, thanks to sensible recruitment and investment.

Phew, with Palace scrambling a last minute draw against Utd it gives me some hope for our match against them. My fear was we'd go into it in perfect form and they'd go into it in their recent poor form, and we all know the outcome then!
