I expected no more and no less from MOTD. I just chuckle to myself that they just....can't.....quite bring themselves to give us the credit we deserve.
Does it really matter? Nope, just the results matter.
Not aimed at you particularly but we really do have some needy fans here.

We got plenty of credit, but a club that was two games from winning absolutely everything in one season just 2 seasons ago is now mid table and their season is almost dead. That's a story that has to be discussed and the reason for it is that they are a bit shit. It would be weird for them not to point that out. We were class yet again but they made it easy for us playing such a high defensive line.

Busy day so couldn't try a stream, caught just a bit of the radio commentary. After the game many comments it was perhaps the Albion's best ever performance - not sure of this from MOTD highlights
😃
Yep. Didn't really get a sense of just HOW GOOD we were. Never mind, I know that we were.

I said at the time: how was it that Mwepu was 'interfering' when he missed an overhead before Mac Allister scored that banger against Leicester, yet Rashford wasn't for United's first? Utter nonsense decision. No other team would get that decision, and yet nobody will be held to account for it.
Oh don't be so dense! One was Manchester United, one was Brighton. Do you really know nothing aout how football works?

I take your point (to a degree) but the footage shown made it seem a much closer match than it actually was, and the reason Liverpool were 'a bit shit' is mainly down to the way we made them look a bit shit.
As I said, I really couldn't care less about MOTD...I just find it amusing (mostly) when it comes to us. :)

They always do.

If only every Albion opponent did that.

Combination of both. Liverpool are suddenly in decline, second oldest team of the 20, owners didn’t buy cm’ers, Brentford/Palace/Forest/Fulham/Wolves all walking through Liverpool this season. That is the reality.

Against the greatest Albion 11 in history.

A really good match edit will make some effort to represent the balance of play. There aren’t many good match edits these days.

It was like they went out of there way to include every Liverpool attack. It did seem misleading

I have Sky and someone mentions they show full match replays. Can someone tell me how I find those ?

They showed 100% of Liverpool's chances and about 10% of ours.

It is what it is, but a bit disappointing the highlights didn’t portray just how completely dominant we were.

Hey ho, even Lineaker did actually acknowledge how good we were today, so there’s a first.

How can that Rashford/Fernandez first goal stand? That's a ridiculous decision, he was literally shielding the ball for Fernandez to shoot.

Plus the penalty for Brentford no way should have stood. Bet365 had the Muffs defenders arm in a lock and then fell over when he felt the other arm come across him.

None really affect us this time, but VAR showing again that it's not fit for purpose.
